Ideas for the new Club System

I love this idea. It has a lot of potential and there could be a plethora of ways to encourage good play. Here are some ideas I thought of:

  • Clubs would be hosted by a five-man group of individuals called the Club Masters. It takes five people to start the Club, and those five people will serve as the initial Club Masters. At the end of each preseason, an election will take place within the Club. To be a candidate for the Club Master, you must have been a member of the Club in the past season for at least two months prior to the Worlds Championship, you must not have any bans over that last season, regardless of whether you were in the Club when the ban was enacted, and you must log at least 5 hours of play time each week during the preseason. Club Masters will be held to a high level of responsibility: during their tenure, should they be banned, be inactive for over two weeks in a row, or fail to take part in Club decisions (with a three day grace period); they will be subsequently removed. If a Club Master loses his or her title, they will be replaced by the other four Club Masters, who will appoint a new Club Master to make five. While there is a Club Master position open, all Club decisions will be suspended until the vacancy is filled. Club Masters will partake in legislation of the Club. Potential rules will be presented to the rest of the Club Masters by an individual Club Master. At the beginning of the Club, the original Club Masters will have a week long period in which they may enact legislation by means of a vote between them, where three of five votes finalizing the rule. After this period, when the Club Masters vote on a law, any that pass will go on to be voted on by the Club, where a majority vote for it will finalize the rule. The removal of rules will also be handled in this manner. Club Masters will also be responsible for the removal and addition of constituents. Club members who have been found guilty of breaking a Club rule, through weight of evidence, will be judged by the Club Masters. The Club Masters will then vote on whether the member should be removed. A majority vote will remove the member. When a new Club member wishes to join, he will be queued. Club Masters will have access to recent game history, as well as ban history, of all applicants before they vote to accept or deny the applicant. Denied applicants will have to wait a month before reapplying. Club Masters can also put a block on new applications to prevent them from being overwhelmed with new applications when they do not want any at that time.

  • At the creation of the Club, the Club will be assigned a color scheme by the Club Masters. The Club Masters will also be able to create a banner for their Club, but the banner must be approved by Riot. The banner will be made into a Summoner Icon that members can display. Each Club will also get it's own special tag that will go at the end of its members' summoner name. Lastly, the Club will choose a champion that will serve as the Club Paragon. Members of the Club that own that champion will get a Chroma Skin for that champion that relates to the Club's color scheme as long as they are a member of the Club. Also, Club Masters will gain a special icon and in-game emote that will allow them to display the fact that they are a Club Master.

  • Clubs will accrue status as it's members are honored. If a player within a Club receives a banner, the Club will be granted Club Points and Club Reputation. Club Points can be redeemed by its Club Masters, after a vote, to unlock new summoner icons or ward skins for the members of the Club. Club members cannot honor players who belong to their own Club.

  • At the end of the season, Club rewards will be handed out to Clubs whose members have performed exceptionally well on the whole. If, at the end of a season, no current members of a Club, who number over 40 members, were banned that season, the members of the Club will be granted the opportunity to buy "Club Elite" skins, mirroring Championship and Victorious Skins. Also, Clubs will be placed into tiers based on its Club Reputation percentile, compared to the rest of the Clubs. Members will have access to specific rewards based on the tier the Club falls under, such as free IP bonuses. Club Masters will also have a set of rewards special to them alone if their Club performs well.

  • Members of Clubs can join a chat system that will allow them to set up games with other players of similar ELO to them. Members who play with others of their Club will win an IP bonus for their first game of the day with their fellow members.

I really hope that something like this happens though.
