Champion Charisma

There are a lot of generic things about champions' kits that have been mostly left untouched by Riot. Most commonly in shared statistics. It reinforces champions to build around their core abilities, which reinforces having a very specific build path. It's a safe way to design a champion, but it's also season 5. Many things are common knowledge to everyone now, like penetration on assassins is strong and that bruisers need about 3~4 armor items in order to stay relevant.

It's hard for me to explain. The best I can give is examples:

AD scaling on autoattacks; severely modified AS to compensate. this wouldn't change AD scaling of abilities.

i.e. (going with my most obnoxious one here) Tryndamere's base attack scaling: 80~160 (+ 1.5 bonus AD) New base AS: 0.4 There could be changes to his passive to compensate.

or Any AD Assassin now has: base AD: 45~90 (+0.7 AD) base AS: 1.0 there could be changes to their on-hit abilities to compensate.

or Core ranged abilities with extremely short cooldowns.

i.e. Ziggs' Q now deals 30~90 damage plus 0.35 AP scaling, costs 30 mana at all levels and has a cooldown of 4/3.5/3/2.5/2 seconds. There could be changes to his passive to compensate.

or Naturally having a ton of resistance.

i.e. Renekton now has 50140 armor and 3560 magic resist. He has 450~1600 base health to compensate.

These changes are most applicable where they make the most thematical sense with the champions - in the case of assassins, using 2 small weapons in each hand lends the champion to having a very fast attack speeed. Also, Renekton is a giant armored lizard; naturally having a lot of armor makes sense thematically. The main point behind these thematic changes, however, is that they also open up more items to being bought that wouldn't have been considered otherwise. Some champions can make almost any item work while others are pretty much left to 10~15 items; changing that is the point of this idea.
