[Events] Reminder, there is stuff going on right now!
Hello all! Just wanted to make sure everyone here knows about some of the current concept community events happening.
There are two main champion concept contests that happen every month:
Start: 1st of every month Host: Rotating
This is a constantly changing challenge event that gives set parameters for a champion concept and many step up to the plate to give it a go. The host usually changes every month and for May it's currently Kamiroo Wolf. If you're interested in participating visit the title link to the entry thread. Entries are being taken until the 15th (that's tomorrow!) but you're of course free to watch the event unfold to see if you'd like to participate next month! But do keep in mind, the MCCC changes every month with its parameters, hosts, judges and various creative challenges, so be ready!
Start: 2nd monday of every month, Noon EST Host: Sir ArmaMalum
Short for the Community Concept Open Stage, is a monthly contest that has only no specific restrictions except that the concept has to have been made in the same month. It's primary motive is to encourage new concepts and generate feedback/visibility to concepts that otherwise may go unnoticed. The judges are simply fellow community members that volunteered and remain anonymous until the end of the month. If you happen to score the highest in any given CCOS you'll get a custom .gif to 'pin' on your concept as well the associated bragging rights you can get from either competition. Entries for the CCOS end next Monday on the 18th so if you don't have a concept to enter yet what are you waiting for?!
