Thoughts on 3rd Tier Boots?

I just scrapped a post about new boot options when a fellow rioter inspired the idea of 3rd Tier Boots by suggesting boots with lifesteal. Of course- vampiric sceptre is too expensive for a boots build, but why not just make 3rd tier boots?? I mean- why just stop at spending 1100 on a necessary item?

So here are some ideas for 3rd Tier Boots! Add some ideas for yourself!

Boots for Health Tanks item 3117 + item 1011

  • Adds the benefit of Health to your boots
  • Increased Movement Speed bonus
  • Could add momentum/dreadnaught-like function

Boots for Attack Damage Sustain item 3006 + item 1053 "Vampire Stilettos"

  • Adds benefit of Lifesteal and Attack Damage
  • Increased Movement Speed
  • Additional function

Boots for Damage Mitigation item 3047 + item 3111 "Solari Treads"

  • Merges Tenacity and Ninja

I'm not a sneaker manufacturer- drop some ideas of your own too! And what are your thoughts on 3rd Tier Boots??

yes but some of your examples no. The old boot enhancements - furor werent that bad.

i loved the old tier 3 boots... 470 perma speed on Kat made my life amazing... but they just decided to nerf her base movement speed and remove the tiet 3 green enchant :(

The problem with more expensive boot options is that they are ment to be purchased for speed. If you simply add more options on top of boot upgrades it heavily devalues other options in items. Making movespeed a mandatory buy because it gives speed and every other stat you want/need doesn't feel good, especially when you run a champion that should not need that speed.

i dunno about those specific upgrades... but some actives in boots would be kinda cool. like a 1 second speed boost, or a sheen proc, or a small shield when dealing damage, or boots that have a pink ward.
