Thoughts on 3rd Tier Boots?

I just scrapped a post about new boot options when a fellow rioter inspired the idea of 3rd Tier Boots by suggesting boots with lifesteal. Of course- vampiric sceptre is too expensive for a boots build, but why not just make 3rd tier boots?? I mean- why just stop at spending 1100 on a necessary item?

So here are some ideas for 3rd Tier Boots! Add some ideas for yourself!

Boots for Health Tanks +

Adds the benefit of Health to your boots
Increased Movement Speed bonus
Could add momentum/dreadnaught-like function

Boots for Attack Damage Sustain + "Vampire Stilettos"

Adds benefit of Lifesteal and Attack Damage
Increased Movement Speed
Additional function

Boots for Damage Mitigation + "Solari Treads"

Merges Tenacity and Ninja

I'm not a sneaker manufacturer- drop some ideas of your own too! And what are your thoughts on 3rd Tier Boots??

yes but some of your examples no. The old boot enhancements - furor werent that bad.

I think it would be practical to have 3rd Tier boots. I mean, why just stop at a second tier? My examples are mostly for fun, but I think they get the idea across. What would be some ideas you have for boots? Maybe Riot can come up with something.

we use to have tier 3 boots but rito took it away

what i would like to see is boots to go away and your movement speed is based per lvl like cass and can be modified with items that have ms enhancements like phantom dancer, phage and so on

Thats what boot enchancements were they were removed in midseason 6.

i loved the old tier 3 boots... 470 perma speed on Kat made my life amazing... but they just decided to nerf her base movement speed and remove the tiet 3 green enchant :(

The problem with more expensive boot options is that they are ment to be purchased for speed. If you simply add more options on top of boot upgrades it heavily devalues other options in items. Making movespeed a mandatory buy because it gives speed and every other stat you want/need doesn't feel good, especially when you run a champion that should not need that speed.

How does it devalue other items? You're buying boots regardless. You will still always have the other 5 item slots. If anything, allowing more to build only compliments other items- allowing for a more refined item build path.

If I may, lets prove this point just from the items suggested in the OP.

HP and Mobi boots? item 3742 But the boots would be less expensive

Attack speed and lifesteal? item 3153 The boots would also be less expensive

Armor, Attack reduction, MR and Tenacity? There would be no better option to build. It would be must build on everyone, every game without exception.

I understand what you are suggesting, but I feel its not the correct direction to go with boots. I personally feel that boots should get 50ish HP, cost 50 more gold and get the Doran's tag like it should have a long time ago to cement it as an early game defensive item.

i dunno about those specific upgrades... but some actives in boots would be kinda cool. like a 1 second speed boost, or a sheen proc, or a small shield when dealing damage, or boots that have a pink ward.
