[GAME MODE] LEAGUE ARENA aka DEATHMATCH

What is it? LEAGUE ARENA would be a 6 player Deathmatch mode on a new map. Solo Players would wait in queue to be matched up with 5 other players and placed in a LEAGUE ARENA lobby. After picking a champion based on LEAGUE ARENA rules (will explain later) The 6 players are spawned into their own individual entrances/bases and then battle their opponents in a free-for-all match up, player with the most pointss wins (more rules later).
Requirements: Must have a level 30 account. Must have a minimum of 15 available Champions. (if you do not own any Champions on free rotation, you need to own at least 5)
How does it work? STEP 1: BEFORE joining a lobby, Player must set up their top 5 Champions they wish to Play in order of Priority. (example: 1) Annie 2) Janna 3) Evelyn 4) Caitlin 5) Garen) You can only choose champions that are "unlocked", aka Owned, Free champion Rotation or Rented Champion shards. You can also pick the champion skin you wish to use. Once ready, it will search for other players.
The program will search and filter from the following: At least 5 other players without Identical Champion pick 1: No one playing Annie for pick one failed to find required players, move to next priority.
At least 5 other players without Identical Champion pick 2: No one playing Janna for pick two failed to find required players, move to next priority.
At least 5 other players without Identical Champion pick 3: No one playing Evelyn for pick three failed to find required players, move to next priority.
At least 5 other players without Identical Champion pick 4; No one playing Caitlin for pick four failed to find required players, move to next priority.
At least 5 other players without Identical Champion pick 5: No one playing Garen for pick five failed to find required players, move to next priority.
Unable to find required players without identical priority picks. Please select again. (This can happen if your selection is filled with popular Champions that others have also chosen.) Return to Step 1: Do this until a successful game is found.
STEP 2: You are immediately placed into the loading screen. "but wait, i didn't pick my runes or masteries yet?!?!" LEAGUE ARENA doesn't use Runes, Masteries or items. It's just you, Your champion versus 5 others players in the same situation. It's a test of a Player's skill with their champion and their abilities only. Each player is placed in their entrance/base, this is where you will always spawn after you die, No other player may enter here. As mentioned there is no shop, so there is no potion's to buy or starting items. Instead You start the game at level 3 and only have 15 seconds to level up your abilities before entering the Arena. There is no chat for live players, communication limited to taunts, jokes, laughs and dances. The LEAGUE ARENA is an Oval shaped Colosseum themed map, as big as the bases in summoner rift. There are no towers, no inhibitors, no minions, no nexus, no river, no jungle camps or epic monsters. Each of the entrances are spread evenly around the edges of the arena. and make you invulnerable and silenced for 3 seconds after you exit. Random traps and buff's may spawn inside the Arena once every 5 minutes or after a Champion has received 100 points. Examples:
- Lava river: Lava spawns in a line on the map, Dealing DOT.
- Arena's gift: Spawn's something similar to Bards caretaker shrine
- Bombard: mini-gangplank ult at a area.
- Foreign object: Champions next basic attack stun the target for 2 seconds.
Death timer follows same rules as summoners rift. no surrender and no remake. First player with 500 points wins. (could be increased if the game is too short)
How to get points? First Blood = 80 points Kill = 60 points Double Kill = +10 (70 points) Tripple Kill = +20 (90 points) Quadra kill = +25 (115 points) Penta kill = +35 (150 points Kill streak is reset)
Trap assist = 20 points (using a trap on a kill) Kill steal = 40 points (Stealing a kill from another player) Leader kill = +50 points (100 points for Killing the player with the highest score , they lose 50 points) Survivor = 40 points (Only player left in the Arena) Trapper = 20 points (5 trap assists) Revenge = +30 points (80 points for killing the player that killed you last, they lose 30 points) Untouchable = 25 points (Receive 0 damage for 20 seconds) Underdog = +30 points (80 points for being the lowest scoring player with the lowest level AND killing a higher level player with a 100 points lead against you, they lose 30 points)
Death = -20 points Suicide = -50 points Trap kill = -30 points (Killed by a trap) Coward = -50 points (Dealt no damage for more than 20 seconds, Killer receives +50 points taken from you) After -500 points, on your next death you do not respawn, and you will become a spectator. Spectators have their own chat and can leave the game without penalty.
WINNERS of LEAGUE ARENA would receive: IP REWARDS LEAGUE ARENA ICON LEAGUE ARENA trophy ward skin LEAGUE ARENA ribbon or decal for the champion they used to win.
So whats the point of this game mode?
I honestly feel that League of Legends has a lot of problems right now. Broken champions.Broken items. Broken builds. This mode would allows Riot or Players, to both properly test Champions in a environment that is both fair and simple, and on pure skill alone, with a bit of luck for variety.
The removal of Runes, Masteries and items, puts champions in their purest form. Without any modifiers Players would have the chance to show their pure skill in abilities mechanics. There are no minions or jungle, so no ganks or economy advantage. If there were to be a champion that was commonly dominant in LEAGUE ARENA, then Riot would know there is something wrong. no champion should be able to take out 5 other players consistently.

Whats with the 5 champions thing?
The point was to remove obvious meta picks,if for example

if these are strong LEAGUE ARENA picks it should be that much harder to get those champions at your priority 1,2, or 3. There is a chance of luck, that you happen to get what you want, but that's also part of the strategy.
Why deathmatch, League is a team game? With the implementation of roles, teamplay is expected but not insured. Majority of players are either alone by themselves (TOP, MID, JUNGLE) or with a random partner (ADC+SUPPORT), team fights happen when they needs to happen, and even some people are just not Team players. LEAGUE ARENA is where they could go. Enjoy the trill of the kill, without the drama of teamwork or competency of another player effecting your game.
How would you handle bots, AFK or Leavers? Bots, don't know how well a bot would play in LEAGUE ARENA, preprogramed maybe, but LEAGUE ARENA is not 100% a win, there is only one winner, so they are botting to lose, one less person to worry about i suppose. AFK - if a player is AFK, when they die, they would respawn and after 15 seconds, be kicked out back into the ARENA, if they lose more than 500 points, they become spectators, again, one less person to worry about. Leavers or Disconnected players, Players who are not connected remain in their bases, they would add to kills or gain experience or gold. same rules would apply for Leavers.
How is this balanced against champions who don't use mana or manaless champions?
I considered a resource regen boost for all champions, All champions would just deal with their cooldowns.
manaless or resourceless champions would gain nothing.
Mana users would get like 10% mana regen for compensation?
Alternate resource users, example
would have no change.
same thing with energy users, no change.
Can you address the obvious gimmick champions?
I understand maybe
could have problems with their kit.
But that's also to be expected, if you can show, that you can play these non obvious meta picks for LEAGUE ARENA, and dominate, it would mean a lot.

without a shop would mean no upgrades.
would need modifiers to help him in game.
How about stealth, camouflaged or invisibility champions? The map is large enough to accommodate these types of champions, there are no wards anyway, so if there is a player that wants to try that type of champion, they can prove their skill. It's part of strategy too, if a stealth champion abuses their invisibility and hides 100% of the time, it's up to the other 5 players to kill them. As stated, there are bonus for killing enemies that did no damage for long period of time. There could be a trap or object that would reveal a certain area, but under consideration.
Why Six players? I felt that at most you should have 5 targets for an ult or an ability, it's less of a cluster flub. any more or less it wouldn't make sense.
Why unique champions only? For obvious reason, I wanted to see Champions versus Champions, not who is the best Jinx. There could be an alternate mode in the same map, that pits the same champions against each other, but for balance it would also be Random, but will allow all champions, regardless of availability, to have a chance to be selected. without runes, masteries or items, players would just be tested on their ability skills.
Why no chat? This should be obvious, didn't want trolling or toxic behavior, or the fact that if your typing your not focus on playing. Most modern games know this already, people can be immature, so it was best to remove chat for live players. As mention there is chat for spectators, but that only effect players who are no longer playing. Another reason was to stop hidden alliances or cheating. this doesn't stop friends meeting each other in game and voice chatting, but there can only be one winning anyway.
Conception notes:
- in the beginning there was an idea of 3 pick and 3 bans, but the added ban variable made it more complicated to get a champion you want to play. so it was removed and added 2 picks extra.
- May add some sort of terrain or Pillars that can block skillshot, for some added gameplay.
- maybe also part of the LEAGUE ARENA mechanic, it could spawn a blue golem or bristleback, but the buff would have to be nerfed, maybe lost on death, instead of transferred, based on the way the game works.
- looking into other traps or buff ideas to add.
- There could be away to auto ban certain champions if game queue is too long due to multi-picks of the champion.
If 80% of players have
as their 1,2,3 picks, the system would notify you and you would have to repick a replacement champion. - also considered a "Sudden death" that would happen if the game lasted more than 1 hour, due to no obvious winner, where lava would spawn from the walls slowly shrinking the battle ground. respawn would be disabled and first kill wins.
- Maybe for the benefit of certain champions, there would be these scarabs or neutral creep that can be killed for stacks, it would help out

. probably spawn total of 10 around the arena, spawning a new one every 5 minutes. - Considering also to give a free skin for the losers,not for spectators, it would be called "Defeated" skin, and it would show the champion in a bad state, tattered clothes, bleeding, bruised and injured, only for the champion they used and lost with.
