Time flies when you're having fun right?

It's almost the first again, and you know what that means... another Champion Concept Contest!

This time around there'll be prizes again!. Granted they aren't much but if you win you'll get a home-made, ArmaMalum approved, Gold Medal animation personalized to your concept! I'm still a novice, but the nice thing about these animations is that they're reproducible, customizable, and don't care about international shipping! WOOOOT!

I've actually already given out some to the previous winners, here they are as an example of what you can get:

(I'm working on improving the quality, like fixing the motion blur, in various ways all the time. If I find a way to universally improve these I'll be sure to come back and update the old ones.)

#Have Contest, Need Judges

Simply put guys and gals, this contest relies on volunteer judges. I'll always need more! Send me an e-mail at "[email protected]" if you're interested in helping me out. Looking back I realized that there is no reason to stop taking judges until the end of the entry period (and the start of the judging period), so you have until Noon EST on 10/8 to send me an e-mail to volunteer. I will provide additional information as well as answer any questions I can through that e-mail.

Quick judge requirements:

  • Cannot be entered into a contest you're judging (duh)
  • Cannot reveal you are a judge until the results are announced. No exceptions.
  • Must score all concepts within the two week judging period. (Max 60 entries)

Failure to meet these requirements will result in your scores being dropped. No drama or fuss, just dropped. If something comes up and you can't get to them all, it's perfectly fine I understand. But I cannot use scores for only half of the entries.

Has the theme of the contest alredy been posted?I know after the first one you choose the add something to it,to make it more challenging.

Last month I was one of the winners. Perhaps I'll enter as a judge, but I'm not sure if I meet the standard requirement as such as English isn't my native language and I don't really know if I am able to check on all Concepts... Usually I don't have any interest in chewing through a Concept that isn't interesting (I mean siriusly, we already have already a music Champion, why again?) for example.

Question. Does the first week of October begin this Week? Or, does it begin the next week after this week?

Little pet peeve that I see, and you probably will fix, but the august coin when facing august has red color on the top left which appears to be broken.

Hello Sir ArmaMalum, I'm really interesting in this contest! I was wondering where can I find more information on this? i.e. where to submit my work/theme/etc. Thank you for doing this! I think this is a great idea and opportunity for us artists! :D

Hey, um... In the forums... There's a thing called the MCCC... The people who do that were going to transfer it over to here when the forums eventually get shut down, so I think there might be an issue with there being two contests. If I can convince the others, would you mind merging with the already-existing MCCC? I wouldn't want a nearly two-year contest to be washed away so quickly.
