Knight's Vow recipe change * r/leagueoflegends

So far item 3109 has existed out two recipe variations:

  • item 3801 + item 1029 + item 3801

And

  • item 3801 + item 1031

Both versions had their own issue's. The original build path was better in cost efficiency. Allowing the item to be rushed pretty early but it provided slot efficiency issue's as a result. The new one is better in slot efficiency but worse in cost efficiency making it pretty hard to build sometimes early on. I have a feeling whe need a middleground. And that's the reason I think we need a new component that can provide a ballance between the two:

  • #new Item: Squire Pact (item 1028 + item 1029 + 300)
  • UNIQUE Active: Designate an allied champion as your Partner (90 second cooldown).
  • UNIQUE Passive: If your Partner is nearby, gain +15% Movement Speed towards them.

Stats & Price of Knight's Vow remain unchanged:

  • Recipe: Squire Pact + item 3801 + 750 (=item 3109 )

I would prefer this actually:

item 3067 and item 1031.

Still cheap but offer cd

That actually sounds pretty good. I grab Knight's Vow mainly for the move speed, so having that to start with and the damage reduction for the complete item late game would be awesome.

A well reasoned concept? Blasphemy!

Typed out a whole big thing, but I can't really find a reason to dislike this. If the HP/Armor is balanced out well with the active, it'll be a solid item that appeals only really to those in the support role.

The only thing I can really say as a critique is maybe adding another cloth armor to the final recipe (So: Squire's Pact + item 3801 + item 1029 + 450g = item 3109 ), that way the support can buy components as he gets the gold, rather than needing to save it up (not that 750 is hard to get, this just helps if he's behind.)
