Ion Core H49 [Champion Idea]

General Background- The Ion Core H49 was a prototype designed by a group of engineers in Piltover based on the self-sustaining power of Orianna's ball. It was originally meant to be a mobile factory used to generate mining robots cheaply in order to harvest valuable resources in high danger areas such as the Crystal Scar. Unfortunately the project was shut down due to the Core being semi self-proliferating as it could theoretically built robots that could then build more versions of itself. The Core was not yet intelligent enough to do such things, however the risk was still there and due to Piltover regulations the project was put on hold.

Fast forward a few years to the great partnership with Demacia, the Ion Core was recommissioned and remodeled as weapon used to provide a steady stream of cheap combat drones to be used as cannon fodder against the Noxus/Zaun alliance. This modified version could only make 2 types of drones, a basic mining drone to gather building materials and a laser mounted drone to send out to combat. It could not make construction type drones and due to regulations being less strict in these times of war, this version was therefore allowed to be active. It served quite well in various battles including the Great Grinder, Screech Valley, and the Battle of the Iron Cauldron, but was eventually destroyed by a Zaun Heat Laser during the Battle of Four Gates when it was used to hold off the oncoming Noxian/Zaun coalition army while the Demacians retreated through the Green Pass (one of the four gates).

Now for Abilities

[Passive]- Synchronization Whenever IC H49 auto attacks, each drone attacks with a skillshot with half that range in the same direction parallel to IC H49's auto attack. Each drone does damage equal to 25% the damage (AD) IC H49 deals and each shot applies on-hit (but not spell effects).

When IC H49 is about to die, it starts a 1.5 second countdown in which it and each of it's drones become invulnerable and inactive. At the end of the count-down each drone and IC H49 dies and deals magic damage in an AOE equal to the damage dealt with Self-Destruct Sequence.

[Q]-** Laser Barrage** ~3 second CD Max level [100 mana max level] IC H49 fires a skillshot laser dealing magic damage to the first enemy it hits. All drones fires a laser dealing half that damage in the same direction parallel to IC H49's skillshot. If an enemy is hit by more than one laser that enemy is stunned for a short duration.

[W]- AB-02 Laser Drone ~0.5 cast time [50 mana max level] IC H49 creates a stationary drone at target location. If cast on self, IC H49 creates a drone that orbits itself in a counterclockwise direction. Up to 3 drones may orbit IC H49 at a time. The drones have set HP and can block oncoming skillshots. Each drone lasts up to 30 seconds.

IC H49 can store up to 3 drones maximum and replenishes drones every 5 seconds at max CD.

Drones do not attack on their own (apart from IC H49's auto atk triggers)

[E]- Self-Destruct Sequence ~0.5 second CD Max level [0 mana] Global Range Target AB-02 Laser Drone activates it's self destruct sequence becoming invulnerable and inactive counting down from 1.5 seconds, at the end, the drone destroys itself dealing magic damage in an AOE to all enemies around

[R]- Pulse Field Toggle [7.5% maximum mana per sec] IC H49 and each drone create static fields around themselves dealing damage per second. These fields stack in damage. (This ability is not really an ult and can be leveled up at level 1)

Edit: Side note here, because all shots fired from drones are parallel to shots fired from the champion it is actually rather difficult to hit an enemy multiple times with one spellcast/auto attack. Additionally because drones last so long, you can technically snipe unaware enemies that are very far away from you if they walk close enough to a drone but it would take some complex aiming using the minimap (skillshots are fired in relation to the champion not the drones).

Thats all I got. Tell me what you think.

As long as the ulti drains mana per second I think this could be balanced.

Interesting concept either way.

yeah i didnt add in any mana costs yet. Im kinda lazy when it comes to figuring out exact numbers.
