Who is that strange person in the Dragonslayer Vayne splash art?
Well, if we look at Vayne's first three skins (and splash arts), all of them have some traits in common.
- She only has her face uncovered.
- She wears glasses.
- She's hot, and she's either showing off her looks, or about to kill someone, or both.
- She has really long hair.
But in the dragonslayer vayne splash art, the center of attention is clearly the giant, awesome, impressionist-style dragon breathing fire (or starfire, or something) in the background. Some random Vayne knockoff is in front.
It's clearly not Vayne, because Vayne wears glasses. If that were Vayne, she wouldn't be able to see, and thus wouldn't be of any threat to anything.
She has much shorter hair than Vayne.
She's not wearing much at all up top, which is unlike Vayne at all (or at least, WAS unlike Vayne at all)
She looks like she's being eaten by the disembodied head of a dragon, Princess Mononoke style.
She's got a sash belt and a mystical eyeball belt buckle, which stands out as odd.
She's wearing a ninja mask over her mouth, which doesn't match Vayne at all.
Even her skin tone is off. But whatever, you can claim that's just lighting.
She has cloven hooves for feet. Is that supposed to look like dragon feet?
Out of Vayne's other skins, Heartseeker Vayne is great. It's a cute, Valentine's day themed outfit that looks like what Vayne would wear to bed for a romantic partner. For a valentine's day teddie, it's too conservative, which is actually appropriate to her theme. That's her version of lingerie.
The SKT T1 Vayne, however, (despite looking AMAZING) has a similar flaw: Why is her midriff exposed? That's not like Vayne. Look at the other champs in the splash art. Lee Sin is wearing a shirt, a jacket, gloves, and a beanie, so he's clearly dressed warmer than normal. Jax is Jax. Not much new there, but he does look like he might be wearing a few extra layers. That could just be the action pose. Zyra is actually wearing clothing, so that's much more than normal. She's also got a pair of gloves, some thigh high boots, and she's apparently plastered in skin whitener. Clearly much more bundled up than normal. Zed isn't wearing his armor but he does have a hoodie. was he cold?
Vayne's the only person in the picture wearing less than she normally wears. O_o
But even in that circumstance, I can forgive it because it looks good. The rule of cool applies man. If it looks good I can forgive a lot.
Dragonslayer Vayne doesn't get that. It looks like the bizarre art porn you see in those magazines that the art teacher has in the back of the art studio for art references. you know the crazy shit with the feathers and the colors everywhere.
Most importantly, it's clearly not Vayne. So who is that strange person?
