[Item] Basalt Blade

#Hi Boards,
Jack here with an item series for Supports - Basalt Blade.

It's three items, actually, but the other two build out of the first:

http://i.imgur.com/uRNIzKt.png ^- plus item 3191

The first item is a neat little, cost efficient item for Supports to give their Marksmen more damage in a similar fashion to Leona's passive.

(Important to note and what I forgot to write in the images is that DoT spells, like Morgana's Soil and Amumu's Cry, do not apply the mark!)

Most Supports scale with Ability Power somehow and so they will like this, while Melee Supports like ** Leona** and Braum just love Health Regen, so it appeals to everybody really.
The price is low - 950, like Glacial Shroud - so Supports should be able to afford it while still in the laning Phase -> Get your starting item, then Sightstone, and then this, if you like.
Also, the building path is fairly easy:
Rejuvenation Bead + 770 Gold or Amplifying Tomb + 515, or both + 335.

Then, the item splits into 2 paths:

One is for everybody - Vulcanic Halberd - which builds out of Basalt Blade + Haunting Guise, as more Supports like Magic Penetration rather than Ability Power.
It follows the Basalt theme (the image is just a fill-in) with lava, and it could be a spear-like weapon with a flag on which you see a red mask, similar to Haunting Guise.
Other than that, it's a simple upgrade to Basalt Blade that enhances the damage your Marksman deals, with enhanced Stats which Supports like - AP, Health and HP5.
Champions like Vel' Koz and Nami and what-not could use this item.

The other path is Melee only, as it gives Tenacity. It builds out of Basalt Blade + Seeker's Armguard + 690 Gold, and offers more defensive Stats with a more independent damage output. I imagine a lot of Melee 'Mages' would love this, especially ones that can spam their spells, like Hecarim or Skarner.
It's build path, however, is fairly ... unpractical for everybody, really, except maybe Jungle Diana, she could cope :D

That's it.
I hope you like the items, and please try to ignore the numbers as much as possible, as they can always be changed.
Other than that, what do you think of them?
Would you buy them? Why? Why not?

Thanks for reading and leaving feedback (if you do)
**Jack **

P.s. : Please do not argument that Supports don't have enough room for variation in their builds. It's simply not true.

Edit: I changed the Basalt Blade pic and reduced the damage to 25 from 30.
Edit 2: I changed all 3 pictures to look a little nicer and adjusted the damage to the new Basalt Blade.

Voidblade makes no sense to be melee only, also armour and tenacity do not go together- overall the items are really overpowered right now- decent ideas though- Voidblade is just a bad idea straight up

the voidblade seems a bit op on an ability spammer, say with a .7 ap ratio, the passive would be worth 50 ap, in addition to the preexisting 50 ap.

Just wanted to highlight a few abuse cases :

Leona : If she gets Basalt blade by level 4, her innate's damage is basically doubled (35->65), level 5-6 she still ends up eith 80 bonus damage per spell. I don't believe it's possible to survive nay engage she would ever do if she manages to land 3+ procs, let alone outtrade her.

Cho'Gath : Tanky Vorpal Spike Cho'Gath is now the only viable build. You will basically explode everything in every teamfights with those 35 extra damage worth. Otherwise, you can also take the one that lets allies proc it, and deal %hp damage ot the whole enemy team on most hits they receive.

Amumu/Dr. Mundo/Alistar/Karthus/Mordekaiser/Zac and a few more : Similar to Cho'Gath, Volcanic Halberd allows you to build 100% tanky and be one of the biggest threat ever.

Evelynn : Her hate spikes are now Hate Spikes with capital letters.

Teemo : Support teemo or Kog'Maw means that yo uwill always have the +30 damage proc on auto-attack on enemies buffing your damage output beyond any measure.

Fine as items but no support ever is going to build this.

So this is like a mini-Leona passive item if I'm getting this. Other than that, looks like a exceptionally good idea for an item.

I may see supports getting it, if they have enough money for it.

Maybe On Lulu or Cho'Gath via support can really do very good upon this.

Other consider non-doT spells such as Amumu's cry may be considered overpowered for this effect (though he may need mana from time to time... Chalice?)

Also, some mages would like to use it, but not at the latest. It seems like a support-only item for a few selected champions and Leona can also deal such damage for this.

Of course, considering the item's value, it brings some potential in battle. Not a lot, but it will bring damage for some tanks.
