I'd like these new items in League. I hope you would, too.
Here they are.


Spellsword (1000 Gold) item 1052 item 1036

  • 15 Attack Damage
  • 20 Ability Power
  • UNIQUE Passive: Falling Below 50% Health causes the runes on the blade to bestow 10 bonus Attack Damage on to you until you have finished thou' righteous battle, courageous Knight.

Guinsoo's Rageblade (2800 Gold)
Spellsword + Pickaxe + 925 Gold

  • 50 Attack Damage
  • 30 Ability Power
  • Passive: Basic attacks grant 5% Attack Speed and 6 Ability Power for 8 seconds on-hit (stacks up to 7 times).
  • UNIQUE Passive: Falling below 40% Health grants 20% bonus Attack Speed and causes your basic attacks to heal 10 (+5% AD)(+5% AP) Health on-hit for 8 seconds (45 second cooldown).

It grants 20 more AD, just as much AP total, 3% more Attack Speed, no more Spellvamp and a pseudo Life Steal. I justify these changes by taking a quick glance here. Mm-hmm.
P.s.: The animation would have to have a red theme for the Heal to make sense.

Chains of the Berserker (2650 Gold)
Spellsword + Giant's Belt + Cloth Armor + 350 Gold

  • 380 Health
  • 20 Armor
  • UNIQUE Passive - Tenacity: The duration of stuns, slows, taunts, fears, silences, blinds, polymorphs, and immobilizes are reduced by 35%.
  • UNIQUE Passive: When an effect ends that** impaired** your movement you gain 20% Movement Speed that decays over 2 seconds.
  • UNIQUE Aura - Rage: Grants nearby allies 25 Attack Damage and 20 Ability Power.

Uhm, because ... Alistar ... and Taric ... and Sona ... and ... and ... because.
Cool version of 'Because': TIRED OF BEING DEFENSIVE? Tired of hiding behind a 60 second shield? No time to wait for a sucky HP5 aura? WELL HERE YOU GO: Take the offensive with CHAINS . OF . THEE . BER-SER-KERRRRRRR!!!!
Look at that Health. Look at it! It's unchanged from Giant's Belt, just like yours will be at the end of the fight. And those beautiful 20 Armor. You could just take em and smack a foe with em. Just, gah smack em right across the face. Ah, and the Tenacity. THE TENACITY. CC-NO-MORE, I say dear friend. CC-no-more.

Obviously these are just suggestive numbers on the items. They can always be changed, and so you should look at the concepts alone, if you can manage that Mr. I-Like-To-Downvote-Every-Item-Thread-In-The-Community.

Meh. If I'm playing a hybrid champ I'll usually buy one type of damage or the other. Maybe a gunblade if I really need sustain.

Also I don't see riot doing an item that gives and AP and AD aura.

Chains of the Berserker doesn't seem viable. The passives would have to be worth 1237 gold in total for the item to be gold efficient, and I think that's a huge if. Plus, the Rage aura seems pretty broken in itself, so it'd have to be nerfed, as well as the slow compensation passive, which essentially stacks on top of Tenacity for no real reason. Couple that with boots of swiftness.... item 3070item 3070

Chains of the Berserker would need some clarification and bug reworking. An Ashe for example, would need to have her coding optimized to make sure that her slows wouldn't "end" when she applied a new one. On top of that, items with auras are typically balanced specifically for the aura. That much health, plus a little armor and Tenacity on a <3k item is going to be bought regularly. The aura is icing on the cake, and a powerful icing for any support. I feel that this is just an overloaded item. Too many things going on at once to be properly balanced.

Ok you do not make a case why these are needed. you just say "I want". Well I want you to have reasons why you think the game needs them. By the look of it they do nothing special that a must have for the game. Builds are all about being efficient and filling a need.

For the Chains of the Berserker, Item does not make sense. adding early game item to D stats does not get you Aura that double that original stats.

Now lets use logic. Sona is getting changed cause of a passive like this. Do you even think Riot wants it on a item?

Why spellsword? I'm not sure if I missed something, but I think that it should build into something cuz it seems pretty useless...

We seem to be forgetting that Runic Bulwark used to be an item. It was removed from the game for being a staple item on every team due to it giving both armor and mage resist. Players would designate the carrier to rush it at the start of each game. Chains of the Berserker with it buffering both offensive stats to your entire team would just become the new Bulwark.

That's a really cool idea.

Honestly I don't see it going anywhere, because I haven't seen a rageblade since my last bot game

Also, Chains is a little too all-over-the-place. It gives health, armor, tenacity, offensive aura, and a really weird passive to boot. I can see that speed boost being useful, but I feel like Tenacity shouldn't be on it.

Those are my thoughts. Again, well thought out and really cool. well done man.
