Can Yasuo get a ninja skin. He is part assassin.

The naruto pictures just for fun. But I do think his color scheme of black and orange would work well on yasuo

Yasuo is based off a ronin. Which is a samurai with no master. Meaning assassinations are not out of the picture. Plus skins aren't just about the characters lore at all. They are ment to be fun. Gnar is a wild beast, but he is getting a gentlemens skin. It's just for fun and looks.

There is difference between "fun" and "discrepancy". It would mean like having Demacian Draven/Darius/Kata etc. Some skins are fun, others are like parallel universes (Guardian of the Sands Xerath is the form he could have if he underwent the uncorrupted Ascension Ritual). But plain discrepancies are not going to happen.

Yes and gangplank is a pirate not a sailor, and gnar is a wild beast not a gentlemen, misfortune is also a pirate but is getting a captain skin or whatever.

It will probably be mindblowing but.... Pirates also have captains on their ships (Le Gasp!). And historically there are figures of Captains treated as Pirates and viceversa depedning on faction. And as I wrote before, the Gnar skin results as a "fun" factor and not "discrepancy".

Yasuo ninja would be like making Ninjas out of MF and GP and special foprces Gnar. It just isn't right. For Yasuo the "Fun" factor has been used for his cowboy skin.

That a straw man argument if I've ever read one. Making gnar a gentlemen even though he is supposed to be a wild beast maybe be fun but is also a huge "discrepancy". Again gp has a sailor outfit. Like as in the marines. As in "discrepancy". Also making mf a pirate captain skin would be redundant. It's like making Warwick a werewolf skin. Also Yasuo is a swordsman no where is he labeled a samurai.

Grey, Feral and Thundra Hunter Warwick are absically the same Werewolf thematic.
Since Yasuo doesn't come from Japan they can't use the term Samurai in his bio but you can see it used by any Rioter who talks about him. You don't see "Marine Garen/j4" even if it's pretty obvious they are the American Military skins but they sue general nicknames.

Your not adding anything but saying "no you can't because blah blah blah". I've shown you plenty of examples that are common and you try to brush it off.
Those three skins are similar but none are basically werewolf Warwick each is legit.
To be a samurai he must have a master and a lord or whatever. He has neither. At best he is a ronin. On top of that it's not unheard of for ronin to turn to assassins/ninjas. They had no master so therefore didn't have to listen to anyone. Samurai a were just a status thing. Only the privileged were samurai.
The naruto thing was a joke which you lifeless trolls can't take.

You can't compare that stuff to actual things. A samurai can not be a ninja. It is very wrong. Why do you think no game has done it? Yasuo

instead of following a bushido code and killing himself for failing to take care of the elder when he was blamed for him death, he ran.

-he served no emperor at any point or master that we know of.

-everyone use's hand to hand fighting.

-ninjas war armor too.

-his fellow country men are after him as assassins. Sneaking up on him if possible. And out numbering him too instead of an honorable fight

Considering that nowdays his whole life is about regain the honor he lost in the eyes of his comrades, avenge the death of his brother and how 90% of his quotes are about honor and such You should turn him in a complete different character to make this skin and not just "joke on it" as gentlemen skins are.

Uhm there is a Noxus Poppy (though to be fair,that is a very old skin). Although I think a ninja skin wouldn't really fit yasuo because it would make his special taunt towards the ninjas completely contradictory(I know there are also some skins whose VO doesn't really fit that well,but having an outright contradicting line would be rather new)

On a side note: I doubt that guardian of the sands xerath underwent the regular ascension.If he did,then he should be looking like an egypt god,like Nasus,Renekton and Azir,but he doesn't.Its most likely more along the lines of "what if Xerath remained loyal to shurima" or something like that.

I can't relink the comment but a Rioter said that Xerath in GotS skin is with the common ritual and being loyal to Shurima (as both mindset and ritual mode seem to play a part in it). The look of Egyptian Gods is more due to what they represent as avatars: Wisdom (Susan), Force (Renek), Rule (Azir). Xerath being just a powerful mage would become an avatar of the arcane energy comboed with sun/sand powers.

About Poppy, I think it could be either as an old way of approach to skins and either a "Play" on her ambassador role.

Yasuo is based on samurai, i.e. the exact opposite of a ninja. Shen, Akali, Zed and Kennen are ninjas.

Anime

Manga

By the rawest definition, the second one could apply to anime, but the first definition expects a simple drawing style and requires humor or satire, all of which can be entirely absent from a manga, just as it can be from an adult graphic novel in the west, which is why it is a poor comparison and definition.

Really, that was the only gripe I had with your statement, and that is after watching/reading Naruto for some time.

Actually the original definition of cartoon is:

A cartoon is a form of two-dimensional illustrated visual art.

So literally anything that's illustrated and for an artistic purpose is a cartoon. Only recently have people gotten confused and thought it was only for animated pictures or satirical newspaper drawings.

Sure, but you leave out many other definitions:

A simplified or exaggerated version or interpretation of something

a ludicrously simplistic, unrealistic, or one-dimensional portrayal or version <the film's villain is an entertaining cartoon>

a comic strip

At the end of the day, the word is so ill defined that you can easily apply it to manga and anime. Historically it's referred to any simplified drawing, mainly humorous ones though.

I didn't leave them out, I knew very well about them, I just didn't think those were the definitions your were trying to invoke.

You say it can "easily apply it to manga and anime", yet none of the examples can apply to all anime or manga, which is why it is a poor definition. It can apply to some works, but since it cannot apply to all, it cannot be used as a definition or good synonym.

Some prime examples would be the 'Ghost in the Shell' TV and Movie series, the 'Cowboy Bebop' TV series, the 'Berserk' Manga series, or the 'Fist of the North Star' series, none of which would not fall into any of the definitions for 'Cartoon'.
