Hello all! Today is the first day of a fantastic month and what better way start off than a Champion Concept Contest? Details are included below!

Note: To clarify, this contest is not affiliated or connected to Riot in any capacity.

#Prizes

• The top winner will be included in a future Hall of Fame Post

• The top winner will decide (within reason of course) next month's Bonus Category

• The top 5 Concepts will be highlighted once the results are out, including any honorable mentions for extraordinary efforts!

• All contestants will get access to their scores once results are out.

No RP or poros this time fellas, sorry. I'm shamelessly hiding behind the poor college student card, but I'm always on the lookout for league related prizes that I can toss towards this thing. Anything from Art, Animations or Accolades that I can send internationally for all the amazing concepts that win!

#Requirements

• ONE entry per summoner
• Concept Entry must be NEW, as in posted within this week so as to give everyone an even playing field and a bit of a challenge. Please refrain from entering re-makes, old WIP concepts, or copies, they may be disqualified.
• Concept Entry must be YOURS. If the linked concept’s author and your name are different your entry will be disqualified.
• Entries will be taken from now until I post a “contest closed” thread on (9.8.14).
• The first 60 entries will be taken. Any posts above that limit will not be entered.
• Entrants can be disqualified based on rude behavior towards other entrants/judges (negative feedback is fine!), disregard of the Universal Forum Rules (porn is NOT a legitimate reference image) or other major problems.

Entries will be scored based on five categories with the following weighting.

#Bonus Category - Doom Mode

This was previously "Skin Ideas" and will change per month. This month it's DOOM MODE.

The idea is simple, if your champion became a doom bot what ridiculous ability changes would you give their kit to instill fear in anyone who would dare face them? Relevant extras are also welcome! Maybe include a "survival guide"? or maybe add interactions like maniacal laughter at every spellcast?

Simple idea, endless possibilities.

#How to Enter

1. Post your concept normally within the Skin & Champion Concepts Board.

2. Reply to THIS POST with a link to Step 1

3. Wait for me to reply with "Entry Confirmed!". If it takes more than a day for me to reply I may have missed you, don't hesitate to remind me!

4. Watch the "Current Contestants" List below and double check you're up there, if you are you're in!

There is max of SIXTY slots.

#Deadlines

9/1/ - 9/8 : Entries will be taken. Entry will be closed at exactly NOON EASTERN STANDARD TIME. I was lenient last month because ti was the first contest, but I'm going to be a bit more strict on the timetables this time around.

9/8 - 9/22 : Judging. It's a lot of reading, so we need the two full weeks. Meanwhile feel free to improve your concept, just keep in mind I won't guarantee a judge will see the changes if you wait too long! (Please do not up and change the whole concept totally during this time you will be disqualified for doing so.)

9/24 : Results will be announced.

Judges

Judges will not be revealing themselves until the end of the contest.

This allows them to give feedback and recommendations as simply a fellow player. So keep in mind anyone viewing your concept could be a judge! This doesn't mean to take every bit of feedback as gospel but be sure to listen!

Never fear the Sir is here! I’ve made a Introduction to Champion Concepts post just for you! New conceptors are not only welcome but encouraged to participate! I will be happy to take questions about making a champion concept as well :)

I have a WIP concept...

Feel free to post and work on your concept as much as you want. It's not technically entered until you provide the link to the entries thread. Just make sure you're not the 61st entry!

I don't have a concept, but I want to help!

That. Is. Awesome. The single best way for you to help me, the other judges and the entrants is to give feedback! Negative, positive, just make sure it's constructive and the author can use it effectively if they so choose. In fact if you want some tips on giving feedback to Champion Concepts check out Jaykoboy's awesome How-to guide here.

Can I change my concept after entry?

As encouraging feedback and concept participation is a major motive behind this contest, I encourage iterating on a concept, HOWEVER you have to be able to argue it's still the same champion, no major changes or it will have to count as a new entry with your previous entry being disregarded. Remember: your entry doesn't start until you provide the link here, If you want feedback before entering I advise to simply post normally and provide the link when you feel you're ready. Just be sure to enter before next Monday and before we hit 60 entries!
