Support rework, anybody?

Okay, so, this might seem odd at first glance, but if you look into it, this is actually a very good idea. Supports are the least played roles; not only would a rework spike up their play-rate, but it might make them more fun if they do it, raising the play-rate overall and lowering queue times, since a lot of it is spent looking for one of those support players. Additionally, I've felt as though a lot of support possibilities are out there that could be VERY fun to play. For example, me and my friends are working on a MOBA of our own-- we haven't started coding yet, but we have many concepts. One of these is a mobile support that is focused around peeling and strangling enemy movement. Or perhaps a support that is more oriented towards synergy between teammates, and requires a teammate nearby them in order to function?

I have fun as support right now. I used to have a love hate relationship with it because it is dependent on the adc sometimes, but ever since I bought Bard it's always fun win or lose. The portals, the music when collecting chimes, the stuns, and the hit and miss ult. Bard is so true to his title as The Wandering Caretaker because the chimes force him to roam. I've also found that adcs don't typically care if you roam as long you ping. I feel like I'm doing more because I have an impact on all lanes. The other I like playing is lulu, who doesn't like transforming people into Squills?
