Atlas was an Ugly child, Teased and made fun of for a huge chunk of his early life. His parents for fear of him not bearing a child, and everyone around him shunned him, and thus his life has not been a very happy one. Eventually, Atlas decided to run away. He Only made it about 70 miles before he collapsed of starvation. He Awoke in a very clean building that looked extremely homely but was not a home at all, it was a temple, filled with Monks, who for the very first time accepted the child for how he looked, and found his inner beauty.Initially, he wanted to escape this strange place, however, after seeing and feeling their acceptance, he wanted to stay and learn of their philosophy. Their philosophy was of a greater purpose, and how people in general are selfish - all of man's shortcomings are due to this, so their vow was to life a life of selflessness and martyrdom.

~ "To carry, to protect, to shelter the weak."

from ages 8 to 25 he trained physically and mentally, able to lift 2 tons with minimal effort thanks to the power of mind and body - eventually becoming a High ranking member - The Wycliffe, one of the youngest ever to do so. And he continued to live a happy and peaceful life. One day he decided that it was his time to spread the philosophy that saved him, so at the age of 28, he left the temple in pursuit of this goal. He saved many men and women during various disasters, until eventually he returned to his Home-town.

This time was during the climax of the rune wars, so the planet was reacting very violently. earthquakes and Hurricanes. Tsunamis and spontaneous fires. Droughts and famine. Lightning and Sandstorms. Runeterra was amass with disasters and the smaller villages were felling the blunt of it all, Atlas's home was no exception. mere hours after he arrived a huge earthquake started breaking the ground and from it erupting lava spouts. A very violent holocaust erupted across the city. Panic and chaos were amiss. people were trapped in their homes and as the legend states... "one man... a single man, a rugged, strong individual, pulled people out of their houses, braved the fires and broke through whatever was needed. It was this very strong and mysterious person, who made sure, that despite the dozens of people trapped.... nobody died at the end of the day"

The last person Atlas saved was his very own mother, who was now a widow. She had nobody to love and had been a recluse for the last 10 years. But when she looked at her savior, the smile she gave him, made Atlas feel extremely warm, her broken heart Shattered, and Atlas troubled past forgotten. the two embraced lovingly, and for hours spoke of what happened to each other during the 20 years they were apart. Atlas stayed in the village for about a year or two, to assist in it's recovery. he lived with his mother who was happy to have the company and even became more social. And when atlas finally did leave, he decided to go to wherever he was needed in pursuit of that feeling of warmth he had gotten from his mother. and in this Quest....

he arrived at the Leauge of Legends

Long lore asside: Atlas is a support champion, who's sole purpose is that of a literal carry ( in other words he has a champion on his back) ratios would have to be balanced. and he is** HEAVILY** teamwork based. and doesnt work well with assassains who have flash based abilities (Yi, kat, fiora, LB) but he generally would play something like this

Passive: Powers combined.

  • when atlas has a champion attached to him they share health stats
  • champions also receive 5% of both his AD and AP
  • if a revive ability is placed on atlas while he's carrying a champion, atlas will die and the champion he's carrying will revive
  • if atlas dies while carrying a champion both champions die.
  • Whichever champion is in control gets any gold/Exp made from Minions/ towers/ neutral creatures/ champions... [distribution of EXP and gold is the same as if he were a normal support]

Q: Lifting the weak (20 sec cooldown) Targeting Ally: Atlas picks up a champion and attaches them to his back, the two combine to form one champion

  • reactivating (after the 20 sec CD) will drop allied champion. Atlas cannot lift any disconnected champions.

Fail safe: Pressing recall (B) will detach you from Atlas. If the Combined champions health drops below 30% original health you can not manually detach until out of combat for 8 seconds

Targeting enemy: atlas flips an enemy behind him [a la volibear] disabling them for 1 second. if this ability is used on an enemy the cool-down of lifting the weak is reduced by 15 seconds.

W: Leaps and Bounds (15 sec CD) Atlas jumps to target location and then gains a 5% movement speed bonus for 2 seconds (this bonus applies to both champions if e is activated immediately afterwards)

E: take the wheel (5 second Cooldown) Players switch control of Atlas. when Player A is Playing as atlas you can use atlas's abilities and attack in melee range, when Player B is in control, the abilities + range of the attached champion take over, playing as if you were them. (E) is available for Atlas' player to press at all times despite who's controlling him However. Also movement speed stats are determined by which champion is currently in control.

***R: LET OUR POWERS COMBINE!!! ***(1:30 sec CD) atlas channels the powers of both him and his connected ally. after a quick meditation Atlast fires a Ki blast through a powerful punch that deals 70/75/85% of both champions combined AD And AP ratios as true damage to an enemy.

Example: Ally has 120 AD + 0 AP and atlas has 79 AD + 200 AP combined it's 399 x 70% = 279 true damage

Discuss? Pros? cons? Im very aware that this champion requires extremely good teamwork to play, but in design? any thing i can fix?

I normally give a review of everything but i cannot get past one thing...

Q: Lifting the weak (20 sec cooldown) Targeting Ally: Atlas picks up a champion and attaches them to his back, the two combine to form one champion

  • reactivating (after the 20 sec CD) will drop allied champion

So many questions, and so one, huge, gigantic problem...

Questions

  • Who gets control?
  • Who gets kill credit?
  • Who gets minion count credit and gold?
  • How can atlas attack while carrying?

Problems

Major : Troll potential.

So, so, so much troll and rage potential. I know you want to go with the whole Atlas holding up the world, but with this ability it creates the perfect toxic champion. You can kill any chance of winning a game by using this champion in so many ways. Pick up an ally, and never drop him, don't kill anything, just run around base, or even run into enemy towers. Pick someon up just when they are going to get a kill (since there would have to be an animation which makes both of you stop) and stop your team from killing a target in a 2v1 situation. That ability alone kills this champion. Also you effectively remove a damage source from your team as well.

My opinion, Atlas would be better suited to a melee brawler themed champion. His ult could be called 4th Wall break where Atlas throws our planet at a target location, just my suggestion.
