why not have a champions whos passive is .. to take 50% less damage from targets infront of them.. or when the targets hit their back
like if he turns his back and runs he recieves 50% less damage..
would this be a viable thing for a melee champion as a passive?

50% less damage at level 1 I don't think would work on any champion. So it would have to be lowered or scale.
just threw a number out there..
shaco does 20% increased damage.. hitting targets in the back Braums shield gives him 30 / 32.5 / 35 / 37.5 / 40% Poppy halves non-turret damage against her that exceeds 10% of her current health
maybe 50% is a high number.. but here are somethings to consider... i still think that damage reduction in a direction could be a viable thing for a champion is all..
