#Design Philosophy
>Kaira was made to fill the strategic niche position on a team of a tank buster. There are a few items in league that allow a champion to deal more damage to high health targets to bust down tanks that get in the way; There are even a few abilities that a few champions have that allow them to exploit an opponent's bonus health or poke through armor. But no champion has been made specifically for being a tank buster. League has squishy deletors why not a tank breaker? For all those that gripe about tanks being OP and dealing a ton of damage while being tanky or just being very hard to take down, you are sure to enjoy Kaira.
Kaira's affinity for MS and CC reduction allows her to kite the slow and even the most CC laden tanks like nobody's business, while she herself has CC that specifically targets opponents with higher health, by placing them under CC longer the more health they have and allowing her team more time to deal with them while they are incapacitated. She excels at chunking the health away from tanky/ healthy targets especially due to E - Eviscerate, but on the flip side of the same coin, she is not very good at finishing off targets. Which is why she works especially well when teamed up with assassins. She deals more damage the more health the target has and assassins tend to deal more damage the less health targets have.
She's a team player, a front line dedicated to taking out and inhibiting tanks who get in the way and allowing her team to focus on their own goals unhindered. While not very tanky herself, she makes up for that by having the necessary mobility to avoid or escape most tanks' attacks and CC to survive fights with them.
#Abilities
Passive - Inertia:
Every time Kaira makes a sharp turn (more than 65 degrees) (with a static 2.5 sec CD) she gains an Inertia stack, granting 12% bonus MS for 4 sec, stacking up to 4 times. Bonus MS decays by 25% per sec.
Upon achieving 4 stacks Kaira will reduce the duration of slows and roots by 45% for 6 sec. When the duration ends or upon taking CC, stacks are lost and Inertia goes on CD for 18/16/12/10 sec.
At 4 stacks Kaira cannot gain more stacks. Taking damage from champions will consume 2 stacks. Inertia's CC reduction is increased by 25% while MS is temporarily increased.
Q - Accelerate:
Kaira gains 65/70/75/80/85% bonus MS (+ 25% current MS) for 5 sec, dealing damage to units she passes and cutting up the ground, leaving a 175 unit wide 40% slow zone. If she moves in a circle during the 5 sec, the area within the circle will become Unstable for 45 sec. If an enemy champion enters the AoE, Unstable ground will crumble: stunning enemies for 1.25 sec (+ 0.05% of the highest unit's max health). Only 1 Unstable area can be out at a time.
W - Launch:
Range - Dash: 450 - hit dist: 225 + 175 AoE radius
Passive - Tow: While any ability is active ally champs can click her within 175 units, Kaira will tow them for 2.5 sec or until they give a move command, pausing any MS granting abilities and forcing them to face the same direction as her.
Active: Kaira leaps over a target unit, hitting a unit directly under her within 175 units at the the top half of the arc, and damaging and knocking away units in a 175 unit radius where she lands. CD decreased by 1% of current MS on cast.
Note: Launch is unit targeted, but it is NON-Locking; meaning that she needs a target to cast the dash, but if the target moves during the dash Kaira will NOT follow them. It works more like a ground targeted ability that requires a unit target.
E - Eviscerate:
Passive: AS is increased by a % equal to 25% of her current MS.
Active: Kaira increases the torque on her buzzsaw gaining bonus crit chance equal to 20% her current MS (+ 1.5% of target’s max health) for 3 sec. Each time she crits, she reduces the unit’s armor by 20% (+ 4% per 0.5 AS) for 3.5 sec.
R - R.I.P. Tire:
Kaira revs her saw accelerator up, and lets it charge ahead in a wild path, following the mouse’s location for 5 sec till it falls down. The saw deals x/x/x/ damage (+ 10% enemy bonus health) and steals 30% MS from each enemy it collides with. It steals MS once and deals 50% less damage each time it hits a target again. The accelerator grants all stolen MS to Kaira upon reuniting with her, for an additional 5 sec. Kaira cannot AA or use abilities while R is active, except Q which is cast from the Buzzsaw's position. Passives remain active.

Kaira has spent her entire life running.
Through the lower streets of Zaun. Across rooftops. From gangs, and mob bosses. From city officials and angry wary citizens. Hardly ever resting, always on the move.
Her father betrayed Zaun by withholding information about tests he was working when he decided he would rather not have someone else use his work for their own purposes.
She doesn’t even know what exactly he was willing to accept imprisonment for beyond that.
Her father “accepted” imprisonment for his alleged crimes, feigning surrender in order to keep his work safely hidden, in a place they would never think to look unless he walk free and let their suspicions wonder and find out based on his interactions with people close to him. While he is locked away the key to information he has hidden roams free.
What he didn’t know was that although he had given up his freedom that the Zaun officials would not be satisfied with just him, that they would try to imprison the rest of his family.
When her mother was eventually imprisoned as well, Kaira is the only one left, and with only a fleeting urgent last message from her father before he was taken away: Run.
She had loved her family so much. Kaira swore that she would survive. For her father’s sake and hopes even if she didn’t fully understand it.
Exhaustive years went by.
She let her guard down for one day, let herself think even for a few hours that she was safe.
They captured her. Kaira never forgave herself. Worse, they made her a deal. Instead of mere imprisonment they forced her to fight giant mechanical monstrosities for entertainment in the huge cavernous underground coliseums; betting on which one would be the one to crush her to a pulp. For every 50 wins she could shorten her mother’s 100 year sentence by 1 day. They thought she could never do it. But her years of running kept get light on her feet, staying just out of reach of the giant mechanical behemoths and whittling them down until they were inoperable and fell apart.
Growing tired of embarrassment and trying to save face, the chief enforcer that had chased for for years her sent her a message in her holding cell, much to her surprise, one that she couldn’t refuse. One last competition: If she could avoid his search force for just another 5 years, he would free her mother. If she didn’t, it was prison for life. He was confident that if he could catch her once he could do it again, then he’d put her in jail proper.
But she knew better now. She was never safe, and wouldn’t allow herself to think so ever again. She wouldn’t be caught again.
The race was on.
#Early Morning
Kaira’s eyes snap open. She can’t hear the mice scurrying between the half rotten floorboards anymore.
Not good.
“Move Kaira!”
She raised her head to squint through the poorly boarded up hole in the ceiling of the decrepit multi level slum shack, into the twilight haze that perpetually pervaded the atmosphere, due to the ever burning light from smudged unidentifiable hexchem and mechanical sources, through the rising smog in the mid level slums so thick, so acrid, it hurt not to wheeze. She’d let herself doze off leaning against the moist molded scraps of wallpaper. But now she was alert.
“Move, Move.”
The desperate determination coerced her to full awareness. She had almost lost count of the days, how many had it been, how many did she have left to go? But what did days past matter, if she was caught, how far she got didn’t matter if she didn’t finish.
She was so tired, she’d awoken ready to collapse. “Run,” the last word she caught from her father, as the Zaun officials wrenched him away, as she snatched at her last moments with him, was the only thing left she had to fuel her. She only had so much endurance left for more than hope.
“Keep going don’t stop”
“Three years, so close”
The columns and wisps of gaseous mist materializing from the various vents and sewer covers undulated everywhere. She was lucky if she was gagging through on the smell of sulfur.
“They are close.”
She had sworn to herself that she would never be caught again, it would be an unthinkable betrayal of her family’s hopes, to their freedom of body and mind.
She shifted her Buzzsaw Axe Power Accelerator, and slid to the wall, moving out of the light from the hole in the ceiling wouldn’t be enough.
“They are here.”
She could feel her pursuers like they were breathing down her back, they way it felt when she blew through an alley bat colony, frenetic leathery fingers grasping her back.
“Three years and half a quarter…”
She’d worked so hard to get this far.
“It doesn’t matter how much noise it makes.”
They know where she is. She can’t remember what it felt like not to be tired
Her endurance can only last so far on hope alone.
But hope is enough.
The Buzzsaw shrieks to life.
The boarded wall behind her explodes open.
Mildewed green insulation sprays everywhere, adding to the smog.
Iron shod boots pound to the new ragged opening in the third story building.
Only to see a fleeting shadow, as the motor’s throbbing echo fades into the distance.

Kaira should always target the enemy with the most health in order to be most helpful to her team

Although Kaira is most effective against tanks, she is not completely without tools to deal with other classes

Her dueling potential against tanks is very high

Her potential falls off against low health targets

Her armor reduction works well in team fights

Although it is not possible to gain anymore stacks with MS until Inertia comes off CD once max stacks has been reached, the stacks can be managed by letting the 3rd one decay off then regaining it without getting the 4th one.

When E is activated try to get as many AA's in to crit more often and reduce more armor

Before using CC on Kaira check to see if she has 4 stacks of her passive if she does, hit her with an AA or a non CC ability in order to remove her CC reduction

If she starts to move in a circle after casting Q get out of the circle

Try not to duel her while E is available, it exponentially increases her damage, and will wreck you in a team fight

Her W is easy to dodge if you’re fast enough

Kaira’s weakness is walls and terrain, having to traverse around them uses up precious time in her MS buff

Forcing her to make sharp turns will make her use up her CC reduction before she is ready

Kaira is weak to sustained damage, while she can usually escape burst damage, before its all laid on her, or before she’s finished off, she can be easily whittled down

Be on the lookout for when her Passive is on its lengthy CD when she can’t get away as easily.
