**Design Philosophy ** Akara was designed to fill the gun mage niche and create a bullet hell style gameplay, walking the fine line between being a mage and markswoman leaning towards the mage playstyle. This was designed while keeping in mind to not overbear on players not used to bullet hell games. The idea of gun mage can be wide ranging and the theme of bullet hell was added as it serves to focus the archetype and separate Akara as a mage who uses a gun rather than a marksman gunner who uses magic like a few of the champs who have marksmen as their primary class. This is done by each of her skills having a form or redirection as at some point all of her skills deviate from going in a straight line, as well as having her manipulate them. The passive was created to give players a burst of abilities and will allow them to set up for an onslaught of attacks that is sure to have the enemy laner dodging. But the passive requires setup, if the player wants the full output and this will give the enemy laner time to breath and retaliate. Hopefully this will create a healthy trading pattern where Akara players rely on AA’s between bursts of spell casting.


Q - Infinity Shot is a simple ability that plays with the opponent's ability to dodge, but it pairs nicely when used as the final attack on the next ability W - Shockwave: Which allows Akara’s bullet hell game-play fantasy to be fulfilled in the laning phase. It slows enemies to allow Akara to land her shots, but it also absorbs damage from her attacks that pass through dealing rounds of AoE dmg and and explodes releasing a nova of individual bullets when it has enough damage. These individual bullets take on the characteristics of the final shot, which gives the Akara player a lot of interesting choices. E - Ricochet allows true Akara mains to show their skills, and will allow them to skillfully aim shots from creative angles and rounds out the Bullet Hell game-style with redirected bullets from more than one angle. R - Bullet Hell should fill both Akara players and opponents with the frantic energy a real bullet hell game can provide while everything should still be dodge-able


#KIT

Passive - Sorc Buster Holds 6 charges, each charge grants .5% CDR until used. Casting an ability consumes a charge granting Akara 1/2/3/4/5% CDR on her other abilities and gains (a % = 2x CDR) bonus AS. Recharge: 3.25 sec After-Ability-Cast Charge Duration: 3 sec

Q- Infinity Shot Akara shoots 2 shots that arch out 50 units meet at 450, arch out again 50 units, and meet again at 900 units. Enemies and monsters at meeting points take 100% damage, those hit on the arches take 25% damage on the first arch and 75% damage on the second. Range: 900

W - Shockwave Akara shoots a magic distortion to a target location slowing units within. It absorbs and deals AoE dmg for each AA and ability passing through. After enough dmg the next AA or Ability explodes it releasing a nova of 8 copies in all directions. Akara can attack it directly. Each Shockwave nova individual copy deals (trigger attack’s dmg + absorbed dmg) dmg. Range: 1000 Speed: 900 AoE Radius: 125 (slow and AoE dmg) Explosion Radius: 450 Slow AoE duration: 6 sec Duration: 12 sec Damage Absorbed: 10/20/30/40/50%

E - Ricochet Akara fires a bullet that bounces off terrain or her own abilities at a 90(or 180) degree angle towards the nearest target (prioritizing Champs, terrain/abilities then herself). Each bounce increases the damage and passes through minions/monsters dealing 75% dmg. If she catches the bullet the Recharge is reset. Holds 2 charges, the consecutive casts always has 1.5x the Speed of the previous. Recharge: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 Range: 850 (initial and each bounce) Speed: 1600(1st cast) Notes: recharge benefits from Sorc Buster's CDR

R - Bullet Hell Akara creates a ring that slowly tracks her position: Inside she instantly gains 6 charges of Sorc Buster and its Recharge time is reduced by 0.65 sec for each cast. Each ability cast shoots out 4 copies in a 80 degree cone. After each ability cast the next 3 AA’s become copies of the ability shooting in the direction (no lock-on) of the target dealing 100% Physical and 25% Magic Damage. Range: Self AoE Radius: 300 Duration: 7

Tips for Playing As Akara If Shockwave is the last ability shot into a full Shockwave: The result is 6 full Shockwaves. A Shockwave can take dmg from another Shockwave exploding or passing through it. She can quickly shoot her 2nd cast of Ricochet in a line after the 1st to extend it range, and automatically catch the 2nd bullet. Shockwave combined with Ricochet in the tight areas of the jg will prove to be very effective.

Tips for playing Against Akara Akara depends on all-ins to deal massive amounts of damage She is not not so good at the whittling down strategy She is very very mana hungry Akara is also skillshot reliant If Akara is focusing on AA’s watch out for a soon coming onslaught of abilities try to dodge them. Avoid being at an angle where she can hit you with Ricochet it can only bounce at 90 or 180 degrees.

#Lore The adopted daughter of a former lone Sentinel of Light, Akara is now charged with her ailing surrogate mother’s mission. To put a final end the advance of the Black Mist. To do so Akara trained in Zaun before searching to find the Lost Sentinel of Light, to assist in her goal; A former member who had given up his true purpose in exchange for vengeance. Akara knew she had a lot to go through especially when she heard news of a strange gun that shot light had appeared in Bilgewater. But Akara knew that the weight of her mission was heavier than her apprehension, besides she was a Zaunite; And Zaunites never let anything or anyone stand in the ways of their goals, no matter the cost.


Akara was born with innate magic abilities that strangely only affected small objects with kinetic energy that she could manipulate. She grew up in the streets of Zaun, and ran around with the other street urchins and sump snipes her age. Akara amazed the other kids with her gifts curving sling shot stones at intense angles, and stopping them mid flight. But her heart ached for a real family, that didn't resent her friends or use of abilities. Fate had a bigger role for her to play though than that. A traveling Sentinel of Light caught sight of Akara in one of her acts and immediately noticed the potential she could have. She singled Akara out and presented her preposition. The Sentinel of Light had been traveling through Zaun and was in a losing battle with the Gray Sickness and wasn’t able to carry on her mission, the fact that her Relic weapon had been stolen in her weakness didn’t help either. The Sentinel of Light would adopt her and teach her the ways of her order. Akara had the potential to do what she couldn’t with her affinity for the style of combat, and the Sentinel of Light saw a light in her eyes that she knew could be used for the greater good. She taught Akara that the true source of energy that defeated the darkness came from within, not from the weapon, and that the Lost Sentinel of Light needed to be reminded or he would never truly defeat his enemies. The Sentinel of Light gave her hexgun to Akara, and trained her before sending her on her mission.

This really needs to be considered for a champion. I think it goes well with the whole dynamic of league and she seems like she would be really fun to play. [vlad-salute]

beautiful art. I wonder what her interaction with lucian would be like. Pity? Disappointment? Anger? She's a nice juicy bit of lore too. She looks piltovan, but I do like the idea of tech VS. undead. Her E seems kinda op though, is there anyway you could put it on some form of delay for the sake of counterplay a bit?

Anyways, thanks a lot, this seems super cool, and I'd love to see it in game

While I think the concept of a gun mage in league is intriguing...

I don't think it's okay to submit an idea for a champion using character artwork from another game even with a "credit".
