Solution to fix Hextech Exclusive Skins
I remember reading a lot of complaints about this system, the quality of the skins, etc
But Riot put efforts into creating this system, so it will not be removed
When i look at Hextech Annie , i feel this is** a very prestigious skin** Hard to obtain and with a lot of powerful effects
And i think that's the key to make the "Hextech exclusive" working well
Add prestige and quality
TL;DR :
- All Hextech skins become Hextech-exclusive
- All Hextech skins will be upgraded to current day's standard
- All Hextech-exclusive skins obtained via the system will grant "hextech recall" upon being used
- All Hextech-exclusive skins obtained via the system could grant "hextech loading border" upon being used (?)
Hextech recall : Imagine Hextech Galio's "winds of war" Darker blue with thunder and runic effects (would take priority over regular-blue or golden recall)
Current state of Hextech skins :
Annie : excellent
kog'maw : excellent
Galio : good but could be upgraded (520 RP skin)
Sion : good but could be upgraded (520 RP skin)
Janna : outdated
Anivia : outdated
Singed : outdated
The key part is, what's more lucrative :

invest ressources to update and improve skins that will become exclusive (knowing that these skins would become exclusive, players would massively buy those skins)

touch nothing and invest ressources elsewhere
Small cosmetic details like "hextech recall" or "hextech loading screen border" would only exist to show that the player got the skin by legitimatly crafting it with gemstones ( and not by buying it a regular way )

Singed becoming Chemtech
Singed staying Hextech (he's already chemtech, so it's redundant)
Dark blue gas filled with mini-thunders
Mega Adhesive as an hextech "net" with blue runes/
Janna could use an hextech-powered-pet, hextech-kog'maw' style
Dark blue tempest filled with mini-thunders
Anivia's spells could be a mix of electricity and ice
SIon is a little too red to be hextech, but it's not really an issue
All of the outdated skins contain a lot of potencial, if you have any ideas or concepts I would love to read or see them !
