#Intro

Arashi is an attempt at creating a true weather champion. Across LoL and many other MMOBAs there can be seen champions that may take only one aspect of weather or storm at a time, but then they become THE storm or weather champion. This champion concept is meant to solve this problem, to create a champion that would truly embody the role of weather in as many ways as possible.

Because of this Arashi can be very unpredictable no one knows when the storm will strike or when the weather will change, they just know that the inevitable will always occur the the only constant thing about Arashi is change. His dynamic versatile kit allows him to play in multiple roles with the way his passive and ultimate are set up. But he must chose his path carefully because once he does he will be stuck in the same playstyle for some time and that could lead him to either be extremely successful or not depending on the situation.

Each normal basic ability follows a trend that is increased manifold upon using his ult; Heat is strongly immobile damage based, Wind is built for light damage with high mobility, and Rain provides Utility and Support, with his Kit set up like this Arashi can fluidly switch roles as needed. As he builds up his stacks toward his ultimate so does the suspense for the enemy as to when the weather will break and in what form. Arashi has no control over when he will reach max stacks, but this also means he gain increased passive effects the longer it takes for him to charge and that also means his ultimate will be much stronger. Beware the Calm before the Storm.

#ABILITIES

Passive: Fluctuating Updraft Casting abilities grant stacks. He has a 20-50-30% chance of making stacks max at 4, 5, or 7 stacks respectively. Stacks are displayed as buffs with the number of stacks per cast for each separate ability. Casts of abilities share the stack cap, so max stacks can only be gained with 1 ability. If max stacks had been reached with multiple abilities’ stacks, casting another replaces the oldest stack with the newest. On the first cast(or first after the ult is over) the max stacks will be calculated and indicated in the passive icon.

Q - Heat Wave Passive: Boosts his damage by 2% per stack He releases a slow filling a cone of heat in a target direction, dealing minor DoT. AoE remains for 8 sec.

W - Storm Front Passive: Increases his MS and CDR by 3% per stack. He unleashes a gale leaving a linear AoE granting 20% CDR to allied champions inside for 5 sec.

E - Vigra Boosts his mana regen by 0.5% per stack. He creates a 300 Rain AoE that heals allied units over time for 4 sec

R - Climate Embodiment Automatically learned at lvl 6. After CD, when he has max stacks from the same ability his ult will become available. On cast all stacks are consumed, refreshing CDs and causing his basic abilities to change based on the ability with max stacks for 30 sec. Only the passive of the affected ability will be active during the ult (+ 5% for 4 sec after every ability cast).

#Drought Stance - Q Q = Heat Burst Blasts heat, dealing increasing DoT in a slowly widening AoE.

W = Thunderblast On activation for the next 10 sec or 6 casts he creates a two air orbs of pressure on either side of him that converge at a target location. A 350 unit radius thunderburst explodes from the meeting point, dealing increased damage to units that touched an orb of air pressure.

E = Anticyclone: casting and AoE radius: 525 / Toggle Ability, Ground targeted He begins Dashing in a circle, creating an AoE at a target location and he becomes a damaging 325 unit thick ring of circling clouds and powerful winds at the edge(he can still be hit, there will be a clear indication of where he is). Enemies passing through the ring will be dealt base DoT plus 25% of the damage that was dealt to them inside the ring as DoT. For entering move commands, the center of the circle is treated as the origin of movement, at 70% MS. He passes through terrain and units, but the center point will not go through walls. Taking Hard CC or hits from channel canceling abilities will put Anticyclone on CD, moving him to the center.

#Wind Stance -W Q = Supercell: range 6000 sends a 800 unit radius AoE to a target location lasting 15 sec, if it collides with an enemy champ it latches on. Once latched on if it makes contact with another AoE of his, it will get dragged along and will last as long as Supercell. All dashes within take on a lighting effect, damaging enemies in his path.

W = Squall Line: range 14000 Generates a 600 unit wide 450 unit long swath weather front in a shallow V formation that moves forward at a moderate pace. This pushes any AoE of his it passes ahead by their center. All champions touched by the V AoE are surrounded by a small AoE ring of stormclouds as long as they remain in the V AoE. AoEs being pushed, last as long as Squall Line.

E = Shifting Air Pressure: Passive: He can dash to AoEs of his within 400 units by clicking on them. Extended to 1600 in Super Cell.

#Rain Stance - E Q = Rising Thermal: 1000/200 Creates a cloud at a target location that slowly develops over 6 sec or until an Allied champ enters its AoE. Upon right-clicking and entering the cloud will rise up allowing them to see over walls and making the ally untargetable and rooted for 3 sec. Within 500 units the Cloud will drift in the direction he walks.

W = Rain Bow: Toggle On: Creates a tether to an ally. Every time an ally damages a unit, a stationary 100 unit radius 2 sec duration Rain AoE develops over the target, slowing them, the Rain AoE’s radius grows 10 units and its duration is increased by 1 sec every time the same unit are attacked by the same ally.

E = Downpour: 400 radius Passive: All Rain AoEs heal. AoE Healing increases by 50%, when he is inside a Rain AoE. Active: creates a heavily rainy 300 AoE that heals allied units at a target location for 3 sec, moderately slowing enemies. Enemies who dash within the AoE are massively slowed.

Since the beginning of runeterra since the heat of the sun stirred the first winds Myrsky has been an ever present watchful eye over the progression of runterra's creatures through the winds, storms, fog, rain and heat, He has urged and cultured their growth.

Myrsky is ever at odds with Brand over how runeterra should be proded into progression, if he did not act Brand would have his way burning everything to the ground, runeterra needed to ready to weather the coming destruction, but they were frustratingly slow, he had to act

He pushed them with the winds of change, battering again and again with heat waves, storm surges, and floods. Pushing them to the brink and weeding out the weak to create a stronger future. And with each trial he rewarded the survivors with nourishing rains, and gentle breezes, but he never let up on his agenda. At times he was forced to pause his precious tedious work to stop Brand from ruining it at.

At times like these fierce battles the weather pattern was thrown into chaos often locked in one repetitive condition of weather and wouldn't change for months. He would throw all his might at Brands power, beating him into submission, or pushing lives out of danger, or washing Brands damage away, but it was taxing to do and used up his energy.

Unfortunately Brand only grew ever stronger, and when Brand attempted once again to destroy a millennia of tedious dedicated work in his fury he threw his entire being at Brand, blowing his fires out and reducing him to a mere single flame, in the process he blew himself far and wide all around runeterra, and his conscience was scattered.

His essence settled into the air and ground, heating what would become known as the baking Shuriman desert, chilling the north that would later give birth to the frozen freljord, and blessing the isles of Ionia with natural splendor.

Ages passed and eventually the natural winds of his conscience began to gather and pull them selves together so that the could regain a semblance of consciousness, he began to wonder the globe in this near subconscious state. The world had gone on too long without his direction

And from gathering what he saw he was horrified, they had hardly progressed at all. Beings wielded ancient slivers of his long forgotten essence that had been imbued with the land, but they handled it so crudely hardly beginning to approach the potential that the energy held,

There were large and tall structures jutting from canyons that spewed revolting gasses that offened him so deeply

They were not nearly ready for the hell that Brand was surely planning to release. He could feel his essence in the world somewhere, yet cloaked, shielded by some new disguise, as if it lay hidden under a surface that it had infected, and it was out of reach. If he couldn't approach Brand directly yet he could return to his ancient obligation, he had a lot of work to do

This is the culmination of two fans work for over a year.
