Flora, Dryad of the Woods
Flora, the Dryad of the Woods
Ranged, Support, Mage
Lore Deep within the great forest of Runeterra, there lies an ancient race of dryads who tend to the trees. Living long lives, they view the trees which they care for as kindred life, cherishing each branch and leaf on the tree itself. Skilled in magic that causes life to grow, they plant seedlings in an effort to grow their home, the forest. It was into this life that Flora was born. Flora was always a more inquisitive type. Her passion for discovering new plants to grow within her impressive garden took her to the edges of her forest and beyond. Traveling from forest to forest, she became of the most skilled at her art, gaining a repertoire of plant knowledge that none could rival. As she slept among a grove of trees, however, she had a terrifying nightmare. In it, two rivaling cities towered overhead, their strength and power lying in their manipulation of the natural world to their whims. Their inventions, although grand, gnawed their way through the world and left a trail of broken and desolate land in their wake. Their rivalry grew so fierce that they were blind to the suffering of the landscape. Only when they noticed there were no more resources did they realize that the world had been broken, but by then, it was far too late, and the cities began to fall from the lack of an ecosystem to sustain them. Waking in terror, Flora realized what she had seen was a premonition, and, at that moment, she knew she had to act to save her precious nature. She now challenges the best the two cities of Zaun and Piltover can offer, hoping to show the world the power and strength of nature before they consume it all.

Appearance
- Base Skin: Her entire body is a wooden brown, but is also hollow, as though she were molded from a tree that only retained its bark. She has svelte features, and where she is hollow, green magic pulses, with leaf-like particles coming off of her. Her animation for Plant Seeds is her underhand tossing of a pale, seed-like object that has a green particle effect behind it, and the status effect Seeded creates markers in the shape of a seed that has its roots sprouting on the ground around the unit. Harvest Plants looks like a green spiral that spins into allies, while it spins out of enemies. Rampant Growth creates a visual effect on enemies that looks like vines are constricting the enemy, while the bush it generates around allies is a more vibrant green than normal bushes. Wild Flowering creates a large area of short wild flowers that emit a green particle effect that rises up from the bed of flowers. The particle effect is more dense around units within the area. Her steps leave a set of footprints that disappear after two steps, where the footprints grow mushrooms in her wake.
- Ice Raiser Flora: Her body, while maintaining the texture of bark, is crystal ice, with sharper edges and reflective surfaces. Her particles of green magic with leaves are replaced with a cold, pale blue magic with snowflakes. Her plants are now ornate spikes of ice, and all green particle effects are now a pale blue.
