Before you down vote me into oblivion, please give feedback. If you don't like an idea or ideas let me know, if you would add or remove something, let me know. Please be kind.

This is a free for all game mode, most likely on the rift, but If we could get a platform bigger than the rift, that would be cool. Think of this game mode as a mini quest type mode.

The goal of the game is to gather 100 souls and deliver them to the Grave King, the first person to do so wins. Basically to start, 10 players will spawn on a tiny platform around the rift's edges. You must race around the forest collecting souls and feeding them to the king in the middle of the map. He sits on his thrown demanding souls. The center of the map is also the shop. You can only buy items there and not one your spawn points, but you are given standard items to start. Everything is hidden from every player and nothing is visible outside of the shop in the middle, Everyone has full vision of you at the shop. You are killable at the shop and must be alive to buy items. Re-spawns are at the platforms you started from.

In the center is a castle (The shop), which is surrounded by woods and forest(the castle won't be too huge, but not too small either) with a thrown in the center which the king sits on. There is no vision in this game mode aside from that of what players have in their kits(So no wards). You will have the middle of the map, the castle, always visible. Going to the shop leaves you visible for everyone to ambush or attack you. Instead of wards, each player is given a soul bag. Every time they get a kill it is collected into the bag. 1/3 of a soul for the monsters that will be roaming the forest, creatures will be less common and won't be marked on the map. 1 soul for a player kill. Kills offer no money, coins are distributed equally throughout the game.

After 5 minutes of the game, the Soul king will leave his thrown and begin walking around the forest looking for souls. I mean he waited 5 minutes for you to give him souls, it's not his fault you were slow. He was patient for 5 whole minutes, be grateful. He will roam the forest and if you should come in contact with him, he will take a soul away from you every 30 seconds. Familiars will run away from him when he is close by and not visible, follow them(See Familiars). If you go to the shop in the middle of the map, he will go there as priority and start hounding you for souls. Should you have no souls, he will kill you, so run. If he catches you without souls three times, he will transform you into a soul collector and everyone on the map will become visible for you as you rampage until you have killed 3 people. In this mode, no souls will be granted to you as you have to repay the king.

_FAMILIARS _

Souls can be used to summon familiars and upgrade them, but it means less souls for you to give to the king. I really liked the concept that the Black Market Brawlers game mode had of creating your own personalized minion, but found it lacking, as it we limited to the lanes you were in. This idea personalizes one minion for you and keeps it with you all game.

Souls have multiple purposes in game and one of them is upgrading your familiar. The more souls you have the stronger the familiar you can upgrade. You can choose from a few different familiars which will start off in a very basic baby form, but you can only choose once per game so choose wisely. Each familiar has a different purpose depending on the role you chose. As you upgrade them, they change in appearance and strength of their role.

Examples of familiar purposes;

  1. A familiar used to hunt and fight other champions.
  2. A familiar used to heal you and restore mana, as there is no backing in the game.
  3. A familiar used on other champions who have been killed, to take over their body and use it to fight with you.

These are only a few examples, I think 10 different types of familiars will be for the best to make it possible for everyone in game to have, should they choose, a different familiar which serves the champions kit and type best.

SOULS

Souls can be used in many different fashions. If you should die, a soul can be given to remove the revive time to instantly revive. If you have no souls, the soul king will start chasing the nearest person with no souls. Souls can summon and upgrade permanent familiars. Souls can be sacrificed to heal and revive mana, but only once 30 seconds out of battle. Souls can be used to buy traps around the map. There are more uses, but these are the basic ones.

TO KEEP IT FROM BEING A GANG UP OF FRIENDS VERSE RANDOMS

Should two or more people be close to each other for an extended period without fighting, soul hounds will be released and start stealing souls from those players, until they die. Should they consistently avoid fighting even when they are visible to each other, the hounds will be sent out. Should players not fight or should they hide the whole game, they will be attack by the hounds. This is a fighting game, not a farming mode, either gather souls or die. The hounds are buffer and need to be implemented to keep it from being a pre-made teams fiesta. This will be important on riots part because people want to play together, but shouldn't be rewarded for working together as this is a free for all.

I really like this concept! It's similar to how the blood moon game mode worked, so people will have some idea of how the vision/souls work. The only flaw I see in this game mode would be the difficulty of getting 100 souls to the Grave King (maybe make him Yorick or Yorick's ghost dude for simplicity). Getting 1/3 of a soul for killing sparsely spawns jungle creatures or 1 soul for killing a champion doesn't seem to be feasible for 100 since you also would want to upgrade your familiar set traps, etc. I think maybe 25 or 30 would be ideal since you could wander for the first 5 minutes and somehow not encounter anything since, after all, there are 9 other players hunting each other as well as the jungle. Also counting death timers, should a person be lucky enough to find and quickly kill someone, at certain points there could be very few people on the map, making it more difficult for you to find them. Through making the number 25 or 30, the game mode will shorten to probably be around 30 or so minutes. Sure, the rampage thing would help you, but it seems like that'll happen to just about everyone at some point since amassing souls is already difficult. Camping at the shop seems like what would happen with everyone, so people should just have a 30 second time limit within the shop's borders or the area around the shop to avoid that from happening or something like that. Overall a good concept for a game mode, maybe Riot will do this for the Harrowing.
