Wukong changes

Lets make some theoretical changes to a champion with less than a handful of patch changes since Season 1. Literally less than a hand full. Not to mention his last 2 or 3 patches were nerfs. By patches to Wukong, I mean patch changes specifically to his stats, not splash art, or bug fixes, or even general patches like invisibility. His last patch was in Season 4!

*There is a "TL;DR" at the bottom.

Wukong's passive "4 / 6 / 8 bonus armor and magic resistance for each visible nearby enemy champion"

This is a really strong team fight passive for the late game, however, it is very lacking in the early game, and gets outclassed by many other champion's passives. Not to mention, it is very basic and short. Most champions have more established passives. Wukong's passive comes from Sun Wukong's lore "a monkey born from a stone". How about we make it 6/8/10, or add a small scaling shield like Malphite's. 10 might seem high, but read Darius' passive, then read Wukong's and you tell me if doing this would be considered "unbalanced".

"Wukong defeats the dragons of the four seas in battle and forces them to give him a golden chain mail shirt, a phoenix-feather cap, and cloud-walking boots."

He slayed Dragons!!!!!! I want to see a Dragon Slayer Wukong!!!!!! Also, he got some legendary gear from them, so why the hell is his passive so weak early game?

Wukong's Q "10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30% of target's armor" for 3 seconds.

Early game this is a very low damage ability, and it's bread and butter is supposed to be the armor shred on it. Wukong mains max E first. So 10% armor shred at level 2, assuming the enemy has 40 armor, is 4 armor reduction, and only for 3 seconds! Why does it seem like Wukong's entire kit pretty much screws him in the early game? Why would anyone want to play this kit when they can go something like Darius, or Renekton with the high damage Q and high sustain? Either increase the damage, undo the patch that changed his armor shred from 30% at all levels, or increase the time of the armor shred to like 5 seconds. It is just a single target, melee low damage ability.. Why is it so restrained? His Q is stale as hell all early game pretty much.

Wukong's W " invisibility for 1.5 seconds and leaves behind a decoy"

This is a great ability, I just wished it did something more. It is already high mana cost, high cooldown, very short invisibility, and low damage. There are many ways to outplay with this though, I just wished a clone from the Monkey King could stand out more. This ability scales with AP... Like why? Anyway...

"He knows spells to command wind, part water, conjure protective circles against demons, and freeze humans, demons, and gods alike."

I say we add a little something for the jungler Wukong's based on this from Sun Wukong's lore: passive on his W: +10 movement speed in the river because he can part the water. Also, all enemies hit by the clone get stunned for 1 second.. You can see why I suggest this from the quote. These passives would be very good for jungling, not to mention add more dimension to Wukong's epic cloning ability.

TL;DR: buff wukong's passive, Q and W. -Increase passive resistances/level a bit, or add a shield like Malphite's -Restore his Q to 30% armor shred @all levels, or add more base damage, and/or increase the shred duration from 3 seconds. -The AP scaling on his W is pointless. Add passive +10 mov.speed in river, and 1 second AoE stun for enemies hit by the clone. -Wukong's lore says he slayed dragons, so I want a Dragon Slayer Wukong skin.

As a Wukong one trick, no.

He's fine as is. You're going to make him broken OP

With how important Wukong is in the late game, of course he's weak in the early game. He might not be able to do a lot against most tanks, but he's a bane to all squishies. Despite the invis being short, he can use it to get into the backline really easy and with his ult, he can utterly kill so many champions. He's weak early because he's strong late. I know this doesn't apply to all champions, but if Wukong was just boosted forwards during the early game, he'd also be able to kill the tanks easily, which he shouldn't be able to do. To my understanding, Wukong is about killing the squishies fast in teamfights and then being 5v1-3 afterwards. He does that quite well and he doesn't really need any buffs. The fact that nothing has happened to him since season 4 is kind of sad, sure, Riot could do some flavour updates or something, but he doesn't really need all out buffs.
