New ADC Poacher
Was brainstorming about new concepts for champions with my brother and really got the ball rolling for a new champion.
I will be super broad, as i do not really care for character names or backstory too much, i think a champs identity is how one plays, so without much more, her is poacher bro. The main identity of this champion would be his unique, non ult global poke ability on his q.
Innate- When poacher bro stands still, his sight range increases as with his attack range. Rate of increase is doubled while standing in brush. At max benefit gains lethality.
Q- A fast moving skill shot that stops on first target hit, dealing massive damage. Infinite range, projectile loses velocity to minimize effective poking of other lanes until level 3 of skill was acquired, at level 5 the projectile would no longer lose velocity. Projectile velocity could scale with Crit ratio/innate skill duration. Projectile width would be very small, possibly 1 unit.
W- Trail cam is set up on an wall, will provide vision in a cone a short distance outward from wall. Ammunition system cap scaling with level. Just provides vision. Camouflaged ward unit. Passive: Poacher bro must be in closer proximity of wards to reveal him, at most half distance.
E- No idea to be honest, not sure what this ability should be to keep his other more important identity parts of his kit balanced. A damage steroid would make sense here.
R- Same as above, the main concepts of the champion have already been established, so whatever fills this slot that compliments his play style.
The main play style would be going bot lane and harassing the enemy jungler while taking camps. This opens up an odd rewarding task of getting deep vision early to land your global skill. Taking blue trinket and relying on your trail cams as your means of vision to help keep track of enemy movements. You also could help your jungler by speeding up their' clear time.
Poacher bros weakness is getting his lane shoved heavily as he would have no wave clear abilities, this would be his primary counter- disrupting his ability to make plays with his range. Outside of laning phase, his counter would be locating him and getting to him, as he would ideally have no cc or movement speed abilities, relying only of his precise damage at range to overcome problems.
Skins would be pretty great- I think his classic skin would be similar to cait's safari skin, with chromas of different pelts of game hes taken. Headhunter would be pretty fitting as a second release.
