Is the Zed update the only thing you will change about the skins? Or are there any other changes coming based on all the feedback? Also, can you tell us how those icons will be acquired?

Hey Gapybo,

No other major changes will be made to the PROJECT: skins. The PROJECT: icons will be available in the store for RP.

I have two things to ask.

So Zed and Lucian's models won't be changed in any way? I find them too similar to the basic skin(in case of Zed)* and really plain (in case of Lucian)**.
No Project Yasuo icon? Why?

* - Zed's like copy-paste his basic model and change textures, especially around his upper body/neck. ** - Lucian could use some neons on his back, looks very plain.

That's correct. The content on PBE is the final content, aside from minor polish.
He's not receiving an icon at this time because he's not being released with this group of PROJECT: skins. That's not to say he couldn't receive one at a later time.

PBE feedback was looked at, and was taken back to the team, as it always is. We do discuss the feedback, however, not all suggestions will be acted upon. I can't speak to Leona, as I've been working on PROJECT: Yi and PROJECT: Fiora.

Can you ask the person responsible for Leona to at least give us a response in the appropriate PBE thread then? Nurse Flan, I believe it is.

If you're happy with the Leona skin in its current state, fine, but everything I've read (and I've read a lot) indicates the vast majority of players find it underwhelming.

Project Leona itself isn't underwhelming (In fact, it's really nice to finally see Leona with a "Heavy freaking Tank" look.) it's more the W FX itself that is really missing something (Several times we didn't even notice that the skill is in use while in combat.) Both from the FX itself (not enough "oomph" compared to the vanilla W) and from the Sound FX who is really not satisfying.

And some people had complains about the ultimate too, If I remember correctly.

I know that you are not the one who worked on PROJECT Leona, but on the PBE thread, just like Lucian, we got little to no Red responses at all. Leona

No special loading screen.
No special summoner icon.

Am I wrong?

And why are Mecha skins excluded from the 'minion augment / augminion' activation? Please. The skins are so alike...

You're correct - PROJECT: Yasuo is not part of the First Strike loading screen and isn't receiving an icon.

While similar, we consider Mecha a different line, which is why they're not activating the PROJECT: minions.

An idea I had (probably too late to add now) would be that you add one for people who first got it in, let's say, the first month of release. Idk. However that would include ALOT of backtracking records as well as it would leave some a little salty considering it's not a legacy/limited so you can't really add that border. However, the icon I'm curious as to why not make it (PROJECT Yasuo) a purchasable one if the others aren't? Keeps the line nice and clean (minus border), and everybody can represent their favourite PROJECT skin. This may leave some (again) salty that they would have to buy it (if the others aren't), but the option would be there

KateyKhaos, that is a pretty disappointing response for those eagerly awaiting updates on any changes. There has been so much feedback that could easily make this one of the best skin lines out there. For example, I know there has been an overwhelming consensus (excluding the few blind fanboys here and there) that PROJECT Leona is extremely underwhelming in both look and effects on her abilities. I have to agree with most everything those people said in the comments. PROJECT Leona would have been an instabuy for me, but I will have to pass if things stand as you say. Not even the "First Strike" loading screen cards is enough to change that. If Riot listens to the community and improve this skin, then yes, I will gladly buy.

I gathered feedback in regards to Fiora's hair, and it was a fairly divided line of people who liked the hair and didn't like the hair. We decided the hair she currently has fits with the thematic better, as opposed to hair that's down and more in her face, like her other skins.

I'll be getting this skin because it's the first skin she's gotten in 3 years, the quality is overall satisfactory, I love the flavor, the visuals are a lot brighter and overall** it's far more bearable to look at than her VU. **

I just wish the people working on it didn't insist on giving her this silly looking Vegeta hair.

I really appreciate the work that's been put into things but I can't say I'm at all satisfied with the visual treatment Fiora's been getting even a little bit. Sure the splash looks awesome, I love it but the model's hair... hnnng.
