Highly versatile champion?

As a long-time League Champion concept creator, I have a question for the player base at large.

What would you think of an extremely versatile champion, one that can play anything from an ADC, to an APC, to a tank, to a bruiser, to a support, or whatever, depending on what Keystone Mastery they have?

Meaning, while loading, if you see what mastery this champion is using, you know 100% how to counter them, as that mastery relates 100% to a single playstyle. It would allow for an extremely versatile champion, with extreme weaknesses for each playstyle.

Let me know what you think!

The issue would probably be balancing all the builds and ratios without creating a numbers nightmare or one specific build that everyone goes for. Building effeciently would probably exempt entire skills too (E.g: Old AP Sion not ranking his E or ult). A shame because I do like my versatility :P

Well, the simplest thing would be to shitcan base scaling, while granting a huge boon to itemized/runic scaling. That way you can't gain any worthwhile bonuses from the AP aspect of your build while going AD.

For example, if this champion had a freezing slow ability that scaled off of AP, if you had 20- AP, the slow simply would not take effect, meaning that you lose that ability if you build AD/tank.

Not really a fan of a jack of all trades champion. Balancewise he would need to be mediocre or weak in all aspects to balance out the fact that he potentially can be an entirely different threat in game (gl counterpicking against that) and has access to all those options, which doesn't sound very appealing to me personally.
