Caitlyn doesn't fill the character fantasy of a sniper.

She's a sniper with a rapidifferent fire rifle and a tiny flaccid plinking sound. Super disappointing.

Here's an idea, with graves and Jhin such huge successes, I suggest making Cait run on a reload mechanic, particularly a single shot bolt-action mechanic. She's in need of a theme rework anyway. Conceptually she's a mess in both function and look. She's a sniper, but she's a sheriff. She's from piltover which has conceptually evolved off of the deviant art "I r steampunk, look at my top hat and belts" and into a sleeker more advanced city.

She needs a rework. Her gun sounds terrible. Her gameplay doesn't feel like a sniper. If you make one of her skills not unlike a Yasuo Q, except this is a reload skill based on attack speed, you achieve this. A feature could be implemented to take her range up or empower it if it's double cocked or whatnot. But if you want to convince anyone of sniper, a "stand in place and auto to the sound of plith-plith-plith-click" isn't doing it for me.

A sniper isn't a DPS. It's not a constant haranging force. It's a Damage in ONE shot kind of job. And Cait doesn't fit that theme. She needs to be burst in windows instead of a consistent damage force.

I get that her kit works, but pre-rework yorick worked too, and his theme was just as fragmented as hers.

I think the theme of a single shot reloading bolt action sniper is a more fun idea to start from.

I agree but I think the main reason why is because her R is point to click.

I was think something like fid pass, where u don't move/atk increase next aa dmg and range, also her ult does NO WHERE NEAR Jhin's ult dmg,have it be a aa channel that can crit and increases its crit chance an will increase its crit dmg if 100%crit chance,I believe that is all that would need be done, If u wanted more, change q into aa reset that pierces till it dmg runs out(distance could also lower its dmg) Could E change into true sight(I never miss a shot) an next aa stuns W leave as net an work some how w/ e for stun /pull to a trap(I always catch the bad guy)
