Viktor was in a good place and got nerfed into oblivion. He lost HALF the damage on his Q empowered AA, HALF, for what? A crappy shield? I'm so glad mana is important in this update because its just sooooooo much better. Let's have a patch that focuses CDR and NO mana regen! That's fun right? BECAUSE THERE'S TOTALLY NOT TOXIC CHAMPS IN MIDLANE THAT USE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANA...LETS JUST CONTINUE TO GIVE THEM THE UPPER HAND BECAUSE:

Let's take a dump on a mage for no real reason because: he bursts real good. Seriously? He's got one of the most crackerjack skillshots in the game and it's totally the damage that's the reason Viktor gets kills. IT'S TOTALLY NOT THAT ITS A OFF META CHAMP THAT HAS A DEDICATED PLAYER BASE.

Yet mages like LeBlanc still exist with a toxic super safe burst kit. Zed still exists with his phone directory's worth of indirect buffs via itemization. Fizz can still 100 to 0 you with a bullshit move that feel like absolute crap to play against.

Viktor is just too good at damage, apparently. With his soft CC and all id expect him to have some merit. Instead you put his pre-patch midgame as his top-of-the-line-full-build-baron-dragon-red-blue-buff-elixir-of-sorcery lategame now and thats crap. At 500 AP he can barely kill cannon minions now lategame. Veigar MELTS YOU LATEGAME. One shots everything.

We've seen Viktor a whole NONE in competitive play and golly with all the AP drops in items surely Viktor would remain unaffected. God forbid a mage with no hard CC ACTUALLY DO DAMAGE!!!! Whooooo! Shocker. It's not like it takes an ounce of thought to reign in that laser or gravity well.

Instead of some quality of life updates like reducing (NOT HALF) the empowered Q or just scaling it to be better suited for lategame, you give him a near useless shield. Like its super useful as anything other than an early trade tool. (OH, BUT A CERTAIN SOMEONE THAT RHYMES WITH CANCER(YASUO) CAN DASH ALL DAY LONG). You took an early trade skill that evolves to a great lategame skill and crapped on it at all levels. Yet people with DR shields pop up(MALZ) and people with damage negation shields exist(Yasuo).

Thematically a one second delay on the "SHOCKWAVE" you so lovingly misnamed is awful. It feels terrible. The flow of the kit feels clunky. The burn on the ray was bad, the aftershock mitigated that to a burst that was avoidable. Now this thing feels so wrong. It feels slow and stupid. I'm not saying to never tweak the numbers, but changing everything all at once is like trying to do a double blind research project in a crowded mall. There's too many variables changing to see where the ACTUAL problem is.

The R is crap. Hands down. Tibbers can ragef#%& everything the second he exists and he can back it up with HIGH BURST and he automatically follows at Mach 1. You need to rename this skill sh!%storm, its got one easy counter. Walk 3 pixels to the right. Unless you are danger close and the target you're nuking is chain stunned (Boned already in this case) that R ain't killing anything but your mana pool.

Seriously. He can't DPS out of a paper bag now and his skills feel weak and stupid.
