One of the last 2 darkin being female?
Just something cool me and a few others pitched around. I think it has some major potential to further the overall picture of the darkin. Not sure if its a GOOD idea but i thought it was cool.

It's in the Varus color text.
To be honest in his short story there is a hint at the bottom
'Varus entered, the glow from the smoldering light at his heart revealing nothing but bare stone, burned black and glossy with ancient fire.
Varus sighed. “Where are you, sister?” he said.'
this gives way to the possibly that since varus is now a confirmed darkin that one of the remaining two is a female since she is related to the darkin varus and not the two humans formed withing varus
