Im lucky someone dodged for me since i was in promos. Why arent we allowed to report people who do this?

No joke I actually just got in a champ select game, declare my champion, and I'm all hyped up ready to carry this game right. And this guy bans my champ and says "we're loosing lmao" and there was nothing i could do about it but dodge, while he goes to another champ select probably trolling again all he wants, while im here loosing lp having to wait to play. This is stupid. And what you got was worse.

riot created this platform for this toxic/trolling attitude to thrive. they support trolling and bad game play. when you have a system that can take up to 30 min to get a game because people dodge. you can imaging it gets frustrating. also how people screw up games by going afk or dodging in que. Also when you crash in game and they ban you with leaver buster because of a bug splat. i mean wtf is that. That is just bad policy. this is why dota is so much bigger. and for the people who do want to play seriously its hard to do when you have to play with bronze players once you made it out. this game is made to oppress players just by the design

I never had to wait 30 min, although the higher you come with your elo the longer you have to wait because of fewer players but they cant do anything against it . The highest I was waiting was 10 min but it only happened once.

You only get banned if you are leave more often. If you crash because of the game you wont get punished.

What do you mean Dota is bigger? In therms of what?

If you want to climb you have to do it yourself, dont blame the others. Improve and carry your games alone.

You are technically correct, but we live by a higher standard than an eye for an eye.

If we didn't, then people would take revenge for perceived sleights, leading to the receiving person wanting revenge for an actual sleight which would lead to the original person wanting revenge again, and society would just devolve into idiocy.

Not to mention the fact that images can be falsified. If we did not ban players from naming and shaming, what is to stop someone from framing somebody they dislike for being a toxic little shit, causing the community to all backlash against the person for a crime they didn't commit?

That is not how the real world works.

There are two reasons to not allow naming and shaming.

Images can be falsified, and a person could easily be framed for toxicity that they did not actually commit.
The magnitude of backlash a person would experience for being identified on the internet is massive. Far out of proportion to the crime committed. Take a look at this video about witch hunts:

What's the literal #1 rule when dealing with trolls. DON'T FEED THE TROLLS.

"Defending yourself" does nothing except futher inflame the situation and make the game worse for everyone else who now has to listen to 2 people being toxic rather than 1.

What's the better way to stop a fight, a long protracted battle that helps no one and just pisses more people orrrrr pressing a magic button that makes your attacker dissaper (the mute button).

The sad thing is these people got smart. They don't flame in game and they will never be banned for trolling. Yoy will get banned for calling them out. Riot only cares about in game chat logs in 99 percent of cases.

Nah, there should be a kick vote button. If 3 of 5 people vote someone out for trolling in champ select, the lobby should end and it should act like a report for riot to look into.
