Sinlaire1 votesI assume it was just how it worked out. Her Ironscale skin, the one I run when i play her, was intended to make her look like more of a normal human girl. Her Boneclaw was intended to have a tribal bone dragon feel and her Darkflame probably just wouldnt have looked good with blue skin on a black fire darkness dragon.
Also her icedrake keeps her blue skin even if it's a slightly different shade. While the blue and red was intended to create a stark contrast, i assume, the blue naturally fits thematically with the Ice theme.
So really it just seems that whatever worked out worked out. But i still like her humanoid appearance more. even if that might be effected by my like for redheads :P.
