Yorick Base Kit Idea

So I was watching a youtube video about Yorick and what could be done for his rework and thought about this. Right now the ghouls die after a couple of seconds. What if the ghouls had infinite life span but were kept on a leash?

That would remove some of his cheese by having the ghouls leash back to you if they get too far from you. They could have their own leash max range and also could have 2 modes. First cast mode and already in play mode. Think of them as empowered. When you first cast a ghoul, it spawns and does it's thing. If you cast it again while the ghoul is already up it does something special, be it more damage, more utility, longer duration, etc.

The ghouls would attack the last person you hit(melee or spells) and maybe also the last champion who hits you (although that might just be bad overall)... His ultimate could be kinda like Zyra's ult in a way where it would super charge your ghouls. Increasing damage, increased leash range, speed (AS and MS) and maybe give them extra abilities/effects, damage reduction for the ghouls. His passive would have to be tuned to reflect having a much higer uptime on the ghouls.

EDIT 1: Ultimate doesn't need to offer all those. I was merely listing things that it could do.
