#Velen, the Corruptor Mage Basic Attack Range: 550 Damage: Magic HP: 500 + 70 per level HP Regen: 5 + .5 per level Mana: 400 + 45 per level Mana Regen: 4 + .5 per level Armor: 20 + 3 per level Magic Resist: 25 + 2.5 per level Attack Damage: 50 + 3 per level Attack Speed: .55 + 2% per level Ability Power: No Scaling Movement Speed: 340 #Passive: Tainted Magic The taint of Velen's magic seeps out onto enemies hit by his spells, dealing 20/30/40 (+10% AP) magic damage every second for 3 seconds. Can stack up to five times, each stack beyond the first increases damage by 50%. Enemies within 250 range have Tainted Magic applied to them, and this range increases by 25 units for each stack beyond the first. Tainted Magic cannot stack itself. #Ability 1: Shadowspark Fires a projectile that travels 600 units, dealing 30/50/70/90/110 (+50% AP) magic damage to all enemies hit. If it hits an enemy champion it will explode, dealing an additional 20/40/60/80/100 (+60% AP) magic damage to all enemies within 100 units. Explosions do not cause the projectile to despawn. The projectile and explosion leave behind an area for 3 seconds that applies Tainted Magic to all enemies on it. 40/50/60/70/80 mana. 12/11/10/9/8 second cooldown. #Ability 2: Agony Applies a DoT to the target enemy for 7 seconds, dealing 1%/1.25%/1.5%/1.75%/2% (+0.5% AP) of the the target's maximum health per second. Each tick applies Tainted Magic. 700 unit range. 50/60/70/80/90 mana. 10 second cooldown. #Ability 3: Pain Siphon Enemies in the target location, 300 unit wide circle, take 30/50/70/90/110 (+70% AP) magic damage. After 1 second, it explodes, dealing magic damage equal to 55%/60%/65%/70%/75% of the total initial damage dealt to enemies hit. 600 unit range. 70/75/80/85/90 mana. 15/14/13/12/11 second cooldown. #Ultimate: Cataclysm A rain of dark meteors falls onto enemies in the target area, prioritizing heroes, before a giant meteor impacts. The smaller meteors deal 30/60/90 (+30% AP) magic damage each and land .5 seconds after the location is revealed. A new set will begin to fall .25 seconds after the last one was revealed. A total of 10/15/20 small meteors will fall. Small meteors fall in sets of 2/3/4. The giant meteor deals 150/250/350 (+120% AP) magic damage to enemies within 100 units of the center, decreasing to 50% damage at the very edge, and covers the entire area. The giant meteor lands 1.25 seconds after the last small meteor impacts. The total area where meteors can land is 1300 units. Velen must channel for the duration of this ability. 1500 unit range. 100/150/200 mana. 150/130/110 second cooldown. #Notes: Velen has powerful spells, but if he uses them too often he can run out of mana quickly. He needs to conserve his spells until he engages so that he can deal the maximum amount of damage. item 3151 , and item 3116 are good damaging items for Velen, as they will add more DoT effects to Tainted Magic and Agony, giving him lots of damage. A good defensive item is item 3001 , as the Eternity passive allows you to heal from using abilities while the aura lets you punish enemies who get close. The extra mana and health are also beneficial. The best keystone in my opinion would be Arcane Comet, for the poke and possible extra AoE damage, with Manaflow Band, Transcendence, and Scorch or Gathering Storm, along with whatever you want for the secondary. Velen relies on his team to keep enemies away from him and to CC them, as he does not have any such power, aside from his Rylai's. #Pros: Velen has high damage, increased further on multiple targets. and a powerful poke in the form of Agony. He is able to vary from sustained damage to burst with different spells, and he gets fantastic synergy from certain items(item 3151 +item 3116 ) #Cons: Velen has no built-in forms of CC or escape whatsoever and is squishy. Cataclysm requires you to be stationary, and does not work with item 3157 , while Pain Siphon can be difficult to use effectively. Velen also relies on his teammates to lock down enemies so that he can kill them. #Lore: Velen was once a normal Demacian citizen, until he received a note from a stranger telling him to meet them outside the city. He was suspicious, but did it anyway, and found a dark wizard who placed a curse on him. The curse slowly ate away at his life force, and he resorted to searching for the curse to find out how to defeat it. Eventually, he discovered a cure, in the form of a ancient healing ritual, but he still had dark magic tainting his soul. Everywhere he went, the dark magic leaked out, corrupting whatever he came across. He realized that he would have to continue in his study of dark magic to be able to restrain the taint. Even now, with his newfound skill in dark magic, he struggles to keep the taint in control, preventing it from consuming him.

(So at max rank, with no AP, it would deal 5, then 10, then 20, then 40, then 80, then 160, then 320, for a total of 635) Each tick applies Shadowburn. 700 unit range. 50/60/70/80/90 mana. 10 second cooldown.

Tone it down, 635 base damage is a high amount even for an ultimate. (Veigar's ult at lvl 3 max base damage is 650)
