An champion who can give mobility to other champions?

Yeah, we're right now in the mobility meta, yet immobile champions lost their chance to shine. They can be still played well, if they're in the right hands, yet they can't utilize their spells as mobility tools, like jumps, dashes, and blinks. But what if there would be an champion, who would have as an ability a spell, that throw ally champions in the direction they are facing?(somewhat like Ziggs mine, just a bit different) I had this idea since long, though I never designed a champion and probably feel awkward about it too..

I'd guess it could become out of hand, if the player who has the champion that can give mobility to other champions to an champion that has already mobility. Though it's again in the decision of the player, wich ally they help. Thresh has his lantern as mobility tool for allies, wich is pretty useful, and I think there should be more champion those!

EDIT; Kinda forgot that Kalista can the same thing.. Though only with her Souldbound ally

Yeah, but thats only thresh. He's the only one who can do that in the whole league, and creating more champs with those abilities would be great to actually create an balance between mobile and immobile champions. Just because one champion has this unique ability, why not allow more champions to have it too?

Because then it wouldn't be unique anymore? And because simply slapping a mechanic/ability onto future champions could quickly lead into "X plays like Y, but they have Z, so they're better"?

Talking about mobility.. I know it is unique, yet so many champions have mobility that it's not even that unique anymore and everybody plays those champions, because it's the meta.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind multiple champions having the same ability, after all there are alot of buffers in the game too wich is not a bad thing. And I never heard that Thresh is an superior support pick just because of his ability to help allies that are out of position. I personally prefer buffers, Like Sona, Lulu, Janna, because their playstyles suits me better than Thresh, and yeah all of them are quite immobile (not counting their movement speed buffs tho)

Literally, all those three are the same, they can shield, cc pretty well, and help their team surviving. The differences are that Sona can engage pretty well, while Janna and Lulu are more of life savers, but just because they all can do the same, it doesn't mean that one is better than the other.

Thresh plays like Blitzcrank , but has a lantern instead of a speed boost so they're better.

I'm just joking.

I dunno, I think I've explained it a bit too weirdly. I meant about an champ who allows ally champions to actually jump over walls and save them/helping them to engage. Sure speedboosts are great, but with the current meta of mobility, older champions that are immobile, like Ashe, Miss Fortune(debateable with her speed passive), Varus, etc get outshined by Lucian/Kalista and so many more. Just imagine, your team from the blue side are at dragon pit, finishing dragon, and the enemy team engages right on you. Of course with the most mobile champions that are aviable, its easy for them escape, yet what if you're ashe and your flash is off cooldown? I feel like that's not fair most the time and with an champion who actually help champions escaping/engaging with sacrificing their own mobility would be a fair thing. (though Zilean, Lulu and etc champs with speedboosts have the same decision, jumps/dashes/blinks are much more superior)

This would be really hard to balance. Think throwing Amumu or Galio into the middle of the enemy team. A "pull them to safety" a la Thresh is harder to use offensively (and already does what you described in that situation).

I'd guess that'd be really unfair, yet I had kinda this concept to actually help champions like those to get in their fights to do critical cc to the enemy team. Though, it wouldn't be that different from mumu with having his Q to close the gap, though Galio is a different case wich I have to agree that it might get of control.
