Themed Concept: The Muse
I was musing (HAH!) on League of late. I haven't played in a long while, for several good reasons, but sometimes I still like to theorize about what it might look like if the team got inspired again. To that end, I've had some ideas for champion concepts based around various "themes".
Today I present The Muse, a support who thrives on influencing emotions to alter the course of a fight. Basically she's a hard buffer/debuffer.
Resource: Mana, I wager. Seems like a classic mana champion.
Stats: Pretty weak overall, rather squishy. Typical support stuff.
PASSIVE: Soothing Presence Every 12 seconds, both The Muse and a nearby ally with the lowest health recover 2.5% of their missing health. For every nearby ally, this value increases by 0.5% (for a maximum of 4.5%).
Q: Seeing Red (CD: 11/10/9/8/7/6 sec) The targeted enemy is damaged for a small amount (scales with AP) and becomes taunted by the nearby ally with the greatest remaining health percentage for 2.5 seconds. During this time, they deal 20% and take 20/30/40/50/60% more damage from basic attacks.
W: Heartstrings (CD: 22/20/18/16/14 sec) Cast twice, targeting two different champions. The first cast is targeted, while the second is a skillshot of moderate range. If cast on herself, The Muse can automatically link to an a targeted ally without a skillshot. For the next 10 seconds, the two champions targeted take different effects based on the criteria of the link:
Ally + Ally: Both champions gain armor and magic resist (scaling with The Muse's AP) and their basic attacks heal one another for 10/15/20/25/30% of the damage they inflict.
Ally + Enemy: The ally's basic attacks against the targeted enemy deal bonus damage every third hit or skill hit, based on The Muse's AP, and recover 1/3/5/7/9% of their missing mana. The enemy's basic attacks against the targeted ally reduce their attack speed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 1 second, refreshing with each hit.
Enemy + Enemy: While the champions remain within range of eachother, they are each slowed by 30% and take 1/1.5/2/2.5/3% of their maximum health (plus a flat bonus based on The Muse's AP) as magic damage each second. (This value is first processed as a raw number, then reduced by magic resist.)
The link can be broken early if the two champions move a certain distance apart. Cooldown begins when the link is broken, by duration or otherwise.
E: Aethergift (CD: 25 sec) The targeted ally becomes incorporeal for 2/3/4/5/6 seconds. During this time, they cannot attack or be attacked, can move through units and terrain (at 80/90/100/110/120% of their movement speed), and recover health per second based on The Muse's AP. Spell damage ends the effect immediately, but they cannot be targeted by spells; such damage must come from AOE spells. Affected allies can be targeted by turrets, but each instance of damage is negated, instead reducing the duration of the effect by half.
R: Megáli Émpnefsi (CD: 280/260/240 sec) After a brief animation, all nearby allies (including The Muse) recover 25/50/100% of their missing mana and refresh all non-ultimate skill cooldowns. At rank 3, ultimates have their current cooldown duration reduced by half (Megáli Émpnefsi excluded, of course). For the next 4 seconds, allies gain an additional 10/20/30 (+5% of The Muse's AP)% CDR, bypassing the normal cap up to 80% total CDR.
