#Model
Darkin of Wrath in all her terrible glory. She has grey skin, long black hair and four arms, wielding a ceremonial trident with two hands and holding the severed head of a cultist in a third. She wears a heavy garland of skulls, burned bones, severed body parts and bronze jewelry, in that order.
Recall She stands atop a funeral pyre with the corpse of a random enemy champion on it and disappears in a burst of hellfire.
Skin Freljord Mahasata - Her skin colour is white and black, split down the middle. Wearing a black cloak, wielding a spear and holding a viking skull, she evokes the Norse goddess Hel.
#Abilities
Resource: Fury Mahasata gains 1 point of Fury per second and 2/3/4 (@1/6/11) points of Fury each time she auto attacks a champion, up to 100 Fury. Her ultimate can only be cast at maximum Fury and drains the entire bar.
[Passive] Dual passive: http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/diablo.gamepedia.com/6/6e/Glass_Cannon.png Pick up the skulls of dead enemy champions to gain Fury and permanently deal more damage to them.
Garland of Skulls Whenever an enemy champion dies within 1000 range of Mahasata, its soul lingers in the shape of a burning skull for 8 seconds. Mahasata can pick it up, replenishing 50 Fury and permanently adding the skull to her ceremonial garland. The number of skulls collected from an enemy champion is indicated as a stack counter in the buff bar of both Mahasata and each of her enemies.
Destroyer of Illusions Each enemy champion within 800 range takes 1% increased damage from all sources for each skull she has collected from that champion.
[Q] Trishula http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/diablo.gamepedia.com/3/34/Bloodthirst.png Throw her trident, damaging enemies in a line and carrying crowd control effects onto subsequent enemies hit.
Mahasata throws her sacred trident in a straight line. It pierces through enemy units in its path, damaging each target hit. If the trident hits an enemy affected by one or more movement or action impairing debuffs, it gains additional range and applies a copy of said debuffs to any further enemy units it hits for their remaining duration. This can occur multiple times in a row, applying a large number of crowd control effects to the last target hit.
This ability deals reduced damage to minions and small monsters.
- Missile speed: 1750
- Range: 800 (+150 for each enemy hit that is affected by a crowd control effect)
- Physical damage: 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.6 AP) (if target is a champion or large monster)
- Physical damage: 40/65/90/115/140 (+0.4 AP) (if target is a minion or small monster)
- Generates 10 Fury if at least one crowd control effect is carried onto a champion or large monster
- Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds
[W] Cremation Ground http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/diablo.gamepedia.com/b/b5/Conflagration.png Summon a pit of hellfire that incinerates low health enemies, killing them and cursing them in their next life.
Mahasata strikes the ground with her trident, causing the ground at the target location to collapse into a roiling whirlpool of lava that gradually damages enemy units inside. Enemy champions below a health threshold erupt into flames and are instantly killed, granting credit to the last allied champion that dealt damage to them.
Enemy champions falling victim to the instant kill are cursed upon respawning at the fountain. The curse amplifies the duration of incoming crowd control effects and increases the health threshold below which the instant kill is triggered. These penalties gradually wear off over time.
Skulls in the affected area sink into the lava and are automatically picked up.
- Lava pit: Cast range: 600
- Lava pit: Radius: 175
- Lava pit: Duration: 4 seconds
- Lava pit: Magic damage per second: 20/35/50/65/80 (+0.15 AP)
- Lava pit: Instantly kills enemy champions below 15% Health
- Reincarnation curse: Duration: 120/135/150/165/180 seconds
- Reincarnation curse: Incoming crowd control duration +20%, decaying to 0 over its duration
- Reincarnation curse: Instant kill threshold +5%, decaying to 0 over its duration
- Generates 15 Fury whenever an enemy champion falls victim to the instant kill
- Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds
[E] Sati http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/diablo.gamepedia.com/a/af/Illusionist.png Summon a flame above a corpse. Allies can leap into the flame, causing a explosion that stuns enemies.
Mahasata targets a corpse, summoning a flickering sacred flame that appears above it. Any allied champion within range can right click the flame to perform a long ranged leap into it, causing it to explode with a fiery area effect blast that stuns nearby enemy units and sets them on fire, gaining credit for any kills that result. The ability is more effective when cast on the corpse of a champion or large monster, allowing allies to leap into the flame from farther away and delivering a more powerful blast.
Minion and monster corpses remain for 10 seconds after death and are destroyed by the blast. Champion corpses remain until the champion revives and are not destroyed.
- Cast range: 950
- Flame duration: 4 seconds
- Leap speed: 500
- Minion/small monster: Right click leap range: 750
- Minion/small monster: Blast radius: 200
- Minion/small monster: Magic burn damage: 60/110/160/210/260 (+0.6 AP) over 3 seconds
- Minion/small monster: Stun length: 0.8/0.9/1.0/1.1/1.2 seconds
- Champion/large monster: Right click leap range: 1250
- Champion/large monster: Blast radius: 350
- Champion/large monster: Magic burn damage: 60/110/160/210/260 (+0.8 AP) over 3 seconds
- Champion/large monster: Stun length: 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2.0 seconds
- Generates 5 Fury if an enemy champion is hit by the blast (+1 for each additional enemy champion hit)
- Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds
[R] Deliver Unto the Five http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/diablo.gamepedia.com/5/50/Pound_of_Flesh.png Tear out the target's heart and hold it in her hands. Allies can attack the heart, transferring damage and debuffs to its owner. She can impale it on her Trishula to throw it.
When cast on a champion or large jungle monster, Mahasata rips out its heart with her trident and holds the glowing heart high in her hands, inviting her allies to attack it. Any damage and debuffs inflicted upon the heart are transferred to its owner Abilities that hit both the heart and its owner deal 66% reduced damage on the second hit.
Mahasata cannot auto attack the heart she is holding, but she can stand on her own Cremation Ground and apply its effects to the heart.
If she uses [Q] Trishula while this ability is active, the heart is carried along with the trident projectile. Each time the trident hits and damages an enemy unit, the heart takes 50% of that damage, and any crowd control effects collected by the trident are automatically applied to the owner of the heart. If it passes over a Cremation Ground, it triggers the instant kill if the owner of the heart is below the health threshold. Throwing the heart instantly ends the ability.
- Cast range: 450
- Duration: 2.5/3.0/3.5 (+0.005 AP) seconds
- Costs 100 Fury to cast
- Cooldown: 5.5 seconds (unaffected by CDR)

#Lore
With a terrifying roar of victory, the darklings poured through the gap in the collapsed wall of the liminal fortress. A few stragglers still attempted to resist, but their merciless claws cut them down and their hooves trampled their halos underfoot. A few bloodstained white feathers were all that remained.
"Fools!", the Darkin laughed. "Lambs of light!" A swarm of darklings formed a living throne for her, carrying her above the walls of umblemished bronze. The enemy's vision of utopia, a future of light and steel. Order, obedience, servitude.
A trumpet blast from above shook the fortress as the distant sun was eclipsed by an even brighter light. An ambush! Bloodlust overcame her as she tore into the front line, rending, shre

and found herself staring at blank black walls inside a circle of runes. A teenage boy stood in front of the circle with a cheap athame in his hand and a massive smile on his face.
"YOU SUMMONED ME!", she spat.
"Indeed I did," the boy grinned. "Call me Lord Aiwaz von Ravendoom!" Rule number one drilled into any novice demon summoner: Immediately Assert Dominance. Instead, he gleefully showed her a large phonograph sleeve depicting what humans thought she might have looked like if she rode a spiked motorcycle while having sexual acts performed on her by a host of angels. "Pentakill knows the truth!", he shouted, falling to his knees, rocking on an imaginary guitar. "DARKIIIIN FURYYYYY!"
"I command you now," he continued with a more menacing death grunt. "You will serve my every whim. Obey my Will! Be my guiding light on the left-hand path!" He thrust his hands forward, launching a beam of black energy that shattered a floor tile. "My own invention! I could turn an angel to dust with this spell! You better serve me, or else...!"
"Your wish... Lord Doomraven," she replied with venomous tongue, imagining his blood spurting across the room and him writhing in spasms of agony on the floor. In response, the ceremonial dagger on his altar slowly slid in the direction of his heart, but he quickly put his hand on it and admonished her like an old lady reprimanding her cat. "I performed the ritual correctly! You cannot harm me! I am master of the arcane!"
"As you say, master... Your wish is my command!" She had a sanctuary to invade and he was wasting her time. He would suffer for that. Oh yes, he would suffer.
"I... have a friend. She doesn't know it yet. She's into the darkness, and the darkness is into her," he repeated a line from a popular teenager's novel about a kind and powerful half-demon lover. "I want to... you know, get closer, but I'm not good at the whole... social interaction thing. You know. She studies Demacian literature, I'm an acolyte at the Arcaneum working on a solution for n-dimensional Karthusian ley-tensor manadynamics." Her serpentine eyes did not blink. "She will never... I want you to make her love me!", he howled.
"Do you have any idea who you summoned?", she snarled. "I am Mahasata, Darkin of Wrath and Ashes! How dare you ask me to..."
"I did, and the spell says you will," he answered smugly. Compelled by the summoning ritual, the fire-spitting Darkin had no choice but to obey. He even allowed her to draw a drop of blood with her cursed trident for the bonding spell, enjoying the knowledge that she longed to impale him in the face but was unable to. Master of the arcane!
The next morning, the boy put on his robe and wizard hat after the best night of his life. They had met, he had proposed, and she had said yes on the spot. "I bet you wish I was dumb enough to leave a loophole, don't you?", he gloated as he prepared to banish her back to the abyss. "A backdoor that would allow you to corrupt my wish and betray me. But I didn't, did I?" He rubbed his hands together. "My spell was perfect! I outsmarted the Darkin Fury!"
"Allow me to give you a quick lesson in Darkinazh morphology," she replied icily. "The word 'nEth is the feminine second person pronoun. The word 'nEdh, as you used in your binding spell, is the masculine form. I brought your friend with me, or at least the most important part of her-" She showed him her head, covered in blood and sinew and with a grotesque expression of horror frozen on her face. "-and she agreed with me that you made a grammar mistake. A terrible, terrible, terrible grammar mistake."
"You need a practical lesson in Darkinazh! No need to worry, I can arrange that!" She paused for a moment to drink in his reaction before the ground split and he plunged into the fires of the deep.

faced the enemy frontline. They had been silently awaiting her return, stoic as statues, fiery swords drawn and ready to strike. Silver hoods hid their faces, crafted in divine light. No individuality, not a speck of dust. Perfection unto eternity.
She clenched her cursed trident and grabbed two of the skulls that adorned her neck, clamping down hard with her talons. One of them let out a faint feminine scream. She addressed the other. "You said you could turn an angel to dust. Show me or I crack her soul like an egg!"
A beam of black energy burst from the skull's eyes and bounced off a silver shield. Useless humans. She threw the skulls at the enemy legionary, momentarily stunning it before her trident ripped its guts out.

Time Capsule
I can't help but notice that almost no one seems to have done this. Oh well, their loss...
I pick: Alvedaen
How do you begin to pick a champion to return to from a list of 200? First, you eliminate the ones with a name or tag that doesn't resemble anything that could possibly make it into the game, then you eliminate the generic or derpy ones. This is one of the survivors, and it's a pretty interesting one.
This is basically what people wanted HotS' Skeleton King to be instead of the mindless bruiser we got, and I wouldn't be surprised if Leoric from the actual Diablo games was the inspiration for this submission, including the spell names. You get to control multiple minions without the micro typically associated with this concept and without dumb solutions like Azir (leader of invulnerable and immovable soldiers who can grapple hook his men because that makes sense).
There is a slight issue in that dead minions respawn at their location of death which might be half a map away at that point, and they may need some better AoE protection, but aside from that, this is how rito should implement the long overdue minion character.
Honourable mention: Hajali & Qareen
How do you win a CCOS with a kit that doesn't work? There is little incentive to ever use the Qareen version of the abilities. Luckily, there was lots of text so the judges didn't notice.
