Annie Rework Kit Concept
Goal: Make Annie more fun and interesting to play. This new kit removes the flash + instant tibbers stun combo in order to free up power for the rest of her kit. Her Q is also no longer direct-targeted and is replaced with a homing skill shot with a lower cooldown and cost. She now plays as a spammy pyromaniac who sets the map ablaze, aiming to bring out the fire-loving child in all of us. https://i.imgflip.com/2csajv.jpg
[P] Wildfire Annie's abilities increase in area-of-effect size with AP (capping at maximum size with 300 AP). Annie's abilities set terrain on fire for 3 seconds. Opponents in burning terrain have their magic resistance reduced. After being in burning terrain for 0.5 seconds, enemies catch fire for 1 second, taking magic damage over time.
[Burning damage does not scale with AP. The combination of base magic damage and her passive not scaling past 300 AP is to slightly discourage building full glass-cannon AP and thereby open up building a little more defense/utility on Annie instead. Her overall AP scaling should be decent, but anywhere close to 300 AP should feel pretty optimal for her.]
[Q] Summon: Flame Elemental Annie conjures a living fireball [visually, sort of like a cute Poro made of flame] and throws it in a target direction. The elemental will travel in a bouncing arc [like Heimerdinger's grenade or Ziggs' bouncing bomb] and then will seek out the nearest enemy target for a short time before fizzling out [this could reuse the code from living Jinx chompers from the Onslaught minigame]. If the elemental collides with a target, it will explode to deal magic damage. https://i.imgur.com/OrEECtQ.png [The fireballs each do low damage but the cooldown and cost is incredibly low (I am imagining like 3 seconds, 20 mana), allowing Annie to constantly spam Q in fights for a barrage of bouncing fireball chaos. The idea is that opponents wouldn't be able to evade all of the fireballs but their low damage output wouldn't be extremely punishing to be hit by either.]
[W] Inferno Annie creates a wave of spreading flame that radiates outward in a cone from Annie. Enemies hit by the wave of flame take magic damage, are set on fire, and are afflicted with nearsightedness for up to 4 or until they stop burning.
[Visually, the inferno wave is very bright, intense flames with hot embers and is followed by a cloud of smoke and ash. The nearsighted targets have clouds of smoke lingering around on their heads.]
[E] Blast Shield: Annie creates a shield around either herself, an allied champion, or Tibbers. The shield burns more intensely as it absorbs incoming damage or is exposed to burning terrain. Blast Shield can be recast to detonate the shield, creating a circular wall of flame surrounding the detonation site. Enemies caught in the blast or who pass through the walls take magic damage (amount depending on shield intensity) and are set on fire. https://i.imgur.com/2x5Qy0Ol.png [The outside perimeter of the wall has several triangular 'spokes' extending from it, creating a 'sunburst' shape. Inside the walled area, most of the area is not on fire but is visually scorched. Extending from the inner and outer edges of the wall, there is a small amount of regular burning terrain. Wildfire's AOE scaling doesn't change the inner circle's dimensions, but does cause the flame wall spokes to grow longer, slightly increases the thickness of the wall, and slightly spreads the regular burning terrain on the edges of the wall. W, E, and burning terrain are Annie's deterrents against enemies diving her or her allies since she lacks mobility or hard CC. Annie and her allies should position around flame walls and burning terrain to make the most of Annie's kit.]
[R] Summon: Tibbers: [Same as current but with a short visible cast animation, where the teddy bear is thrown, allowing opponents to sometimes dodge it (may not be possible to escape in time if Annie has sufficient AOE size from her passive or a Rylai's to slow the target). Wherever Tibbers walks, the terrain is set on fire like Singed poison trail.]
