Lee Sin needs compensation buffs!!!@
I think Lee Sin needs some sort of compensation for the removal of deathfire's grasp.
Please buff him, Veigar-style.
Who all agrees that DFG was clearly core on Lee Sin? Please show a raise of hands.

Compensate him like Veigar??? Are you trying to get him gut-
I mean, yes. Perfect! Let's.... compensate him.
Alright, guys. Let's get the ball rolling on these "buffs"... errr... "balance changes"... err... Oh, I forget the correct term...
Taking inspiration from Veigar and Mordekaiser's compensation, let's give this a go:
Base Health Regen:
7.4⇒ 2.4 Energy Regen:50⇒ 20Sonic Wave - Projectile Speed:
2,000⇒ 15 Range:1,000⇒ 1,100Resonating Strike - Cost:
30 Energy⇒ 25 Energy Lee Sin now gains 10% bonus movement speed while dashing... Heh.Dragon's Rage - Damage:
200/400/600 (+200% bonus Attack Damage)⇒ 150/300/450 (+130% bonus Attack Damage) Cost: Reduced to 10 MANA Cooldown:90 / 75 / 60⇒ 85 / 70 / 55
This looks like a good starting point for changes. Gotta give to gain.
Does anyone else have suggestions to add?
What if Dragon's Rage... had an energy cost?
Then he'll be perfectly balanced and compensated.
Dude, that's not compensating, you have to reduce mana costs when you compensate.
-Reduced the cost of Dragon's Rage to 10 mana
"He doesn't use mana"
But we reduced it!
Ahahaha! I am going to use this if you don't mind.
...Most mana efficient CC/damage in the game... Who cares if Lee doesn't have a mana pool?
Make Safeguard a skillshot with 450 projectile speed that returns to lee like lux's shield with a 1.75 second case time,of course. If the shield is broken lee cannot jump to the target.
Looks like Sonic Wave is now a Trap

To properly gank mid as Lee, you now fire Sonic wave from top-side brush and then circle back to flank from bottom-side while Sonic Wave stealthily crawls in to take the enemy by surprise.
If you can somehow manage to get 10 Mana as a manaless champion for his ultimate, you can make a wombo-combo of kicking the enemy into your own snail-paced Sonic Wave.
Projectile Speed: 2,000 ⇒ 15
Brilliant, This will allow Lee to make #LCSbigplays by sending out his Q on top, then roaming bot before coming back and kicking the enemy into his Q. I think this is perfect 'compensation'.
Imagine the plays Lee Sin could make by having lots of Q's traveling in the air at the same time... Amazing
Dragons Rage now has a .75 seconds delay. If the target walks out of melee range of Lee Sin, he misses and kicks the air uselessly.
Something something counterplay something something healthier spot
I agree that Lee Sin's mechanics were 'frustrating' and buzzword buzzword, counterplay buzzword. I definitely think all the Lee Sin mains will enjoy his new coat of paint.

These buffs really capture what rito does best.
Wow I never realized his ult did fucking 600 damage with 200% AD scaling......wtf Riot.

IMO none of Lee's abilities' damage needed nerfing except that ult. I always thought he needed less utility, more than anything else.
Dragon's Rage - Damage: 200/400/600 (+200% bonus Attack Damage) ⇒ 150/300/450 (+130% bonus Attack Damage)
I think we should reduce the bases and change the scalings from 200% Bonus AD to +30% AP. This will help him scale properly into late game as a single-target mage-assassin. The AP Ratio may seem low, but the bonus AP he gets from Baron Nashor buff will compensate for it :)
Don't forget that Nashor's Tooth is a core item.

Im worried the cool down on his ult is just a bit to long to handle these ner... I mean buffs, we should probably add another 10 seconds to cooldown, but make the mana refund around 50...wait Oh this is genius, how about we add 10 seconds and 80 yes I repeat, 80 Mana back if he misses his ult, and now we just need to cut another .2% scaling off the ult though....Sound good to you?
From now on Lee's kick has a 1 second windup; if you leave its range, the kick misses and Lee is refunded half its cooldown.
And he keeps going and hits a wall, then is stunned for a duration based on how far the wall is.
That would be cool if it had the same function as High Jump Kick
Sion style... I like it... Separate the good Lees from the great Lees, am I right?
I agree, nerfing Athene's was a huge hit for him too. I think you should add some more damage scaling to his skills.
Lee's R now creates a rift in Summoner's Rift, sending champions on a Bard style, one-way Magical Journey to the Howling Abyss for the rest of the game.
Need to upvote and bump, people.
Dont forget to buff lee sin by removing the spellvamp/lifesteal on safeguard, increasing the CD of his ult, and reducing the dmg of his ult while increasing the dmg done by lee sin by 20% for x seconds to whoever is hit by his ult.
Lee's Q is now a skillshot that goes through 2 units stopping at the second one. His W's AP ratio is reduced, because AP Lee is OP. His E now has a .75 second delay, and his R AP ratio reduced to make him stronger.
nah. The Q is now a skillshot that hits up to 2 targets. He looses the 2nd activation and instead automatically jumps the last target hit when his Q vanishes (2nd target on hit or the only hit as the Q disapears) This will make him aim his Q and allows him to better farm and harras throught minion.
With this perfectly positive rework of his Q, we now can freely "compensate" anything of his kit. We also reduced the strain on the players, since now they can't forget to reactivate his Q.
Please Rito, buff Lee Sin to the heavens!!
...But seriously, I want some of whatever Riot's Balance team was smoking before 5.4 went live.
This perfectly describes what Riot does.
But not to lee sin
make his ward hop into skillshot. and add a 1 sec delay into his Q
lets make lee sins ult a skillshot but give it 200 more range on the knockback aim it kind of like rumble ult also make his Q have a .75 second delay.
oh and "buff" the ults ratio by 20% while your at it.
I just thought about the ult "buff" and it might actually be a horrific thing to see:( who needs to waste ward jumps to position now
I havent been able to play AP Lee Song support ever since they removed it. They really need some veigar-style compensations.
Lee Sin's Q now has a .75 sec delay in which he cant do anything and is stunned right after he dashes.
If he missed a q he would be stunned for the entire game. Seems reasonable.
ap lee song support - vvvortic
Lee Sin is fine.
you dont even know what fine means. lol
I know it means people need to stop whining about him.
Oh, guys! We have a level 11 LCS player here! Tell us about how to counter Lee Sin good sir!
If all you care about is LCS opinions, then you should be content with the fact that LCS players don't spend their time whining about Lee Sin. They're too busy actually working hard and beating him. He's just one of those heroes that appears overpowered, but actually isn't, especially late game he can be killed very easily with high damage + a smart CC or two.
Yeah seriously. I get that Lee Sin is popular and effective, and especially at high elo, but the guy just fuckin' falls off. He's good in the hands of the few players that actually play him well, while the 90% bronze and silver player base bitches about how OP he is. You think bronze and silver players know how to use Lee Sin? My Lee Sins never gank, always feed while chasing kills in the unwarded jungle, and never ward hop.
The 600 base damage, 200% bonus AD ratio on his 60 second CD ult says that he does have late-game scaling.
What is Lee Sin's winrate, anyways? In Diamond, not lcs? Just curious
