R: Surge of power

Active: Ryze unleashes a ball of pure magic at target location, dealing magic damage in an area and marking enemies with flux. For each enemy champion hit by Surge of power Ryze gains % magic penetration for 5 seconds.

Magic penetration: 4/6/8% Cooldown: 120/105/90 Cost: None

Balance accordingly. Would recommend lowering damage across the board, bounce damage and Q damage mainly. What this ult gives Ryze is reliable access to his AOE damage in team fights.

It's a cool ultimate idea, and it makes Ryze fit in better with other, less mobile control mages. However, the major problem with this is that a new ultimate would not agree with Ryze's extensive lore (which often depicts him using his ult for better access to the World Runes, among other things). Because of this, I don't know how likely it is that Riot would agree to change Ryze's R.

I think actual ryze R is one of best in the game, and your R is like Jinx / Ashe / Ezreal R but magic
