[Champion Concept] Arieth, the Soul Wielder

[Lore] Arieth is a heroic Soulmancer from another dimension, who was transported to Runeterra through a portal. Trapped in a extraneous world, he is seeking the only thing with enough power to bring him home: a World Rune. Armed with Ethereal, his soul sword, and followed by his faithful partner, Thyla the Wisp, Arieth's quest has only just began.

Friends: Lux (met her in one of his trips, they shared a long conversation about magic. They stay in touch by a magic messagery spell Arieth taught her). Rivals: Ryze (snatched a World Rune from Arieth just when he got it, and defeated him on a magic duel). Yasuo (was challenged by Arieth to a duel and was defeated, surprised by Arieth's Soulbreak).

[Gameplay] Class: Battle Mage (Hybrid Juggernaut) Arieth is a unique champion. He is a low mobility melee Battle Mage/Juggernaut hybrid, with longer range abilities for a melee champion, but has to get in melee range to get his full effectiveness. Also, he has various tools at his disposal that empower his team's magic damage dealers, enabling the otherwise non-existant magic-heavy comps. In addition, the second part of Arieth's E enables him to break any shield an enemy possesses. His weaknesses include his limited mobility, and mediocre durability for a melee damage dealer.

Innate - Aether Blade Passive: Periodically, Thyla empowers Ethereal, causing Arieth's next basic attack against champions or structures to have bonus range, deal bonus magic damage and restore a percentage his missing mana on-hit. Static Cooldown: 10 seconds Bonus Range: 50 Bonus Magic Damage: 20 - 150 (+60% AP) (+5% maximum mana) Mana restored: 20% missing mana

Q - Lighning Arrow Ethereal transforms into a bow and Arieth shoots a lightning arrow to the sky, landing in the target area after a brief delay and dealing magic damage to all enemies in the area. Enemies in the center of the area take increased critical damage and grant Arieth a large increase to his movement speed. -Magic Damage: 50/80/110/140/170 (+50% AP) -Critical Magic Damage: 75/120/165/210/255 (+75% AP). -Movement Speed: 40% -Buff Duration: 3 seconds. -Cost: 80 mana -Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/7 seconds -Cast Range: 900 -Radius: 175

W - Fire Wave Arieth calls upon his natural magical power, and unleashes a wave of fire in the target direction, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit and applying a damage over time effect on champions and monsters. -Magic Damage: 70/105/140/175/210 (+60% AP) -Bonus Magic Damage to Champions and Monsters: 3/3.5/4/4.5/5% (+1% per 100 AP) of the target's maximum health over 2.5 seconds. [Max Damage against monsters: 200/250/300/350/400 (+50% AP)]. -Cost: 80/85/90/95/100 mana. -Cooldown: 10 seconds -Cast Range: 600

E - Frozen Soul Arieth marks the target location, and after a brief delay, it is frozen over, rooting all enemies in the area and marking champions with Soulshatter. If Arieth lands a basic attack against a target marked with Soulshatter, they will become Soulbroken, breaking any shield they have and amplifying the magic damage they take for a brief duration. -Root duration: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds -Soulshatter mark duration: 4 seconds -Soulbreak magic amplification: 20% -Soulbreak duration: 4 seconds -Cost: 85 mana -Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds -Cast Range: 800 -Radius: 200

R - Lover's Spirit Thyla, Arieth's wisp companion, combines with him, transforming him into a Magith. In Magith form, Arieth gains an aura that reduces enemies' magic resistance and his abilities change name and are empowered. [Anima Blade] - Aether Blade's cooldown is greatly reduced. [Arrow of Heaven] - Lightning Arrow's bonus movement speed is increased. [Blue Flare] - Fire Wave is thinner, but explodes at the end, dealing bonus magic damage. [Sealed Soul] - Soulbreaking an enemy champion will grant a shield based on Arieth's maximum mana. -Cost: 100 mana -Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds. -Magic Resistance Reduction Aura Radius: 600 -Magic Resistance Reduction Aura Amount: 25% -Anima Blade Cooldown: 5 seconds -Arrow of Heaven Movement Speed: 50/60/70% (+1% per 100 AP) -Blue Flare Explosion Bonus Magic Damage: 80/140/200 (+40% AP) -Sealed Soul Shield Amount: 10/15/20% maximum Mana.
