What needs to be done with the Akali rework

Many champions have undergone their rework, some for better while some for worse. Some of them managed to keep their core identity Gangplank , some have minor changes Irelia while others are changed completely Sion . What we need from Akali rework isnt a complete overhaul of who she is but a magnification of her most important identity.

So what is her most important identity? is it her passive twin weapons that grant both healing and damage? Her W that grants an area of safety and outplay potential. Her sticking ability with her 3 charge dash? None of these really portray who Akali really is. Her core identity. What her core identity is someting we all know. A typical weaboo edgy ninja waifu.

So what needs to happen:

  1. Her twin weapons needs more oomph in it. Needs more ying and yang in it. Like for example, the fangs of two sibling fire and ice dragons, something like those edgy overwatch brothers. Or maybe something more traditional, like the fang of a black wolf and the claw of a white tiger, like Fenrir and Byakko or something. We need something that screams chuunibyou.

  2. Her skills need to have over-the-top names that she screams every time she uses them. Like how in Naruto they always scream Rasengan and shit. Something like "Cross Combination" or "Chaos Slash". Something that gives that ninja skills vibe.

  3. Coming of from Naruto, she needs some sort of eye skill. Like how can you have a ninja waifu without an eye skill. You think Naruto chose Hinata cause that long sleek hair? Uh uh he just want em Byakugan genes.

  4. For her lore, make Akali some princess of a small fallen kingdom and shes like top 5 in ninja academy ranking. Shes the prettiest girl in class 2-B with a unyielding nature and a desire to be stronger. She was also born with some special ability that only 1% of the population has that makes her super strong and peers grant her the nickname "Something Princess".

FYI im totally serious they should really push the edgy weaboo theme i mean we already have Ahri why not add another?

I love what you did. Starts out like a sound intelectual post and then you get pulled into all this:

So maybe let her swap between 2 weapons (kinda like aatrox but more unique) with different effects. A longer ranged single target weapon good for some slows and safe farming and a shorter ranged one more focused on damage and perhaps some sustain. Her stealth shroud thing has way too long of a duration... so that's gotta get fixed - shouldn't be available for so long nor down for a whole 2ish seconds before it can be cast again. Her ult - with the dashes - I think is her core gameplay.

Perhaps they could play on her 2 weapon theme with that too... giving her some small extra damage buff if using short dual wield weapons and a small knockback to enemies near her target if she's using her longer ranged weapon. There's a lot of places they could take her with a rework though, so who knows.
