LORE

In the days of the old, there was a castle on a mountain called Heldargal castle. The duke who lived there was fascinated with dark magic and witchcraft. He hired many wizards, dark mages, witches and many other users of dark magic. Nothing good comes out of spells like they used in that castle, so it took away duke's only daughter away. Desperate and blinded be their own foolishness they tried to bring her back. Duke and his dark wizards tried to bring Silvia Heldargal back from the dead using any means necessary. A dark ritual was used and something was truly brought back from the other side. Silvia rose and her heart started to beat again. However, that thing which got back and raised her body from the dead weren't her soul. It was something dark and malevolent. She was lifeless and no happiness was left inside of her. One person died after another, and when almost all people left the castle, duke finally found out why his people are dying. It was the doing of his daughter. One thing is to deal with death of your child, but it is a different matter when you have to kill something who once was your child. Killed and buried, her body was finally at rest. Scars left by dark magic could never be healed and they bleeds out forever. So, even when the body was dead, something was still alive. Something dark, something evil. It kept on killing, kept on haunting. Many years passed, many people visited the ruins of the castle. Whoever visited those ruins was haunted by images of the Silvia. Some died, some managed to ran away and survive. The dark magic used in that place left a mark as a never stopping rain. Runetarra cried in that place for what was done there. However, something changed. Rain started to move. Clouds, wind and rain started to move out of the ruins and out into the world. Something pulled the darkness away from the mountain and into the world. No one knows who is doing that, but now this pale grim ghost is traveling in the world and the rains follows after her whoever she goes.

Friends: Fiddlesticks Enemies: Soraka

Game strategy

What is her role? She is something between mage (not assassin) and bruiser. She is one of those champions who aren't OP, but you still wouldn't want to play against (like Shaco or Teemo). Her main strength is her "oh @%?!, what to do?" aspect, because most of her kit is for playing with enemy's mind. While she wouldn't be a hyper carry, she would still be a terrifying opponent to play against. I would pick her for teams who have global presence on the map (with champions like Karthus Pantheon Nocturne RekSai TwistedFate + summoner 12), so that enemy team would have to be on edges of their seats (even more). Mind tricks are as effective as their user, and she is an effective user. ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ Why should she become a champion? Well, we have not that much champions who can trick enemies (mainly Leblanc and Shaco), so having one more would be nice. Also, we have a lot of champions who look scary, but only few champions who are actually scary. In addition, she is an average looking undead female and we have only one champions who is like that (yes, Kalista), so she is pretty unique in her design, lore and theme. Don't forget that we still have no champion with rain theme (Janna is wind themed), so she would be something new. ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ What position fit her best? Short answer: anywhere where you can terrify enemies. Long answer: her kit is based on surprises and scaring the living hell out of people. She is most effective at pushing enemies out of the line, because of her wave clears and mind tricks. However, she still have pretty normal ganking potential and can turn fights into your teams favor. ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ How to use her kit? Q harass and CC. You have two options: use it on strongest enemy nearby and then fight any other enemy (so that enemy hit with your Q will be feared automatically while you kill other enemies) or use on squishiest target and try to proc fear as fast as you can. W wave clear and engage on melee champs. Simple as that. E is a tricky one. You can use this to scary away enemies and pretend that they are getting ganked. You can use this to distract enemies into attacking the clone. You can use this to block skill-shots. There is tons of uses for this ability. You can even tank jungle monsters with this ability and destroy revealed wards faster. I bet most of pro players would find even more uses for this ability. R is simple all-in engage (or disengage) ability to have more presence in the fight and at same time make enemies to doubt themselves on whether to fight you or not. Bonus damage and vision reduction in 1v1 fights might be a bit lacking, however in team fights it is one of her main strengths: to disrupt enemies and spread terror in them.

Just because of her passive, I feel like she'd be best as a jungler. She can probably go any one of the 4 machete upgrades, which is cool.

item 3111 item 3709 item 3001item 3143 item 3151 item 3190 would probably be a good built just because of how much of an AoE threat she can be

Alternatively,

item 3111 item 3930 item 3153 item 3078 item 3742 item 3071 as a bruiser jungler could be interesting too.

Also...

Mind Crush [e] Passive: your basic attacks does bonus magic damage equal to 2/3/4/5/6% (+1% per 120 AP) of targets missing health.

I'd put a cap to monsters on her E passive - otherwise, with just Devourer and Bork, she could probably solo baron.

% Max health damage per second in an aoe and ap scaling % missing health damage on basic attacks.

Devourer, nashors tooth, Bork, void staff, and you now have a mixed damaged champ deaing all kinds of crazy damage very quickly.

I have a headcanon that the reason Silvia and Fiddlesticks are friends is probably because she is his Master. She created Fiddlesticks to protect the castle's crops from crows and always visit him every day to tell him stories prior to her first death and resurrection. After her second death, the dark magic that once resurrected Silvia has brought life into Fiddlesticks, filling him with her malice and hatred. As Silvia is followed by rain, Fiddlesticks is followed by a murder of crows. Together, fear will engulf Runeterra.

I can imagine that Fiddlesticks will be given a major rework (Visual Update) while introducing Silvia as a new champion, kinda like how they reworked Gangplank and MissFortune. Her in-game teaser would either be the occasional rain in Summoner's Rift or her whispers echoing through the Fog of War. Also every time someone plays Fiddlesticks, her whispers can be heard; protecting him from enemy champions.

I'm not sure having Soraka as Silvia's enemy. Care to elaborate?
