[Champion Concept] Dontro, The Hextech Engineer

Mini Lore: Dontro had a privileged childhood, but was sheltered from the poorer side of piltover, during his childhood he tried to develop machines that helped the poorer side of the city. He tried to create machines that produced food for free. This was the start of a great man.

Basic Stats:

Primary - Top - Fighter Secondary - Jungle

Melee - 175 Attack Range

Mid - HP High Base AD

Passive - Gears

Around the map (specifically in the quarter of the map you are) gears spawn on the ground, these gears give you a passive buff on your abilities, and is used as your resource. one gear spawns every second.

Passive Buff: gain 1 Armour, Magic Resistance, AP, AD per gear (Max +50 Bonuses)

Max Resource Limit: 8


Q - Combined Effort - 3 Gears - 15/14/13/12/11

Attack All Bots join together to form a chain, grabbing all units near them dragging back to Dontro.

Magic Damage: 5/10/15/20/25 per Bot

Length: 100 per Bot (500 is the max range) Width: 175

Heal All Bots turn into Healers, Healers have 5 HP (Like a Pink Ward) and heal all units around them.

Heal: 100/125/150/175/200 + 20% Missing Health (Total Heal) Heal Duration: 5

Heal Radius: 300

Protect All Bots for a circle which blocks all projectiles, After the duration ends all projectiles absorbed equals one less bot (2 Auto's absorbed and 5 Bots used after the duration ends only 3 Bots come out of the circle).

Requires atleast 3 Bots.

Radius: 300 + 100 Per Bot (Max 600 Radius)


W - Uprising - 8 Gears - CD 60/55/50/45/40

Dontro creates a 'Bot Station' that produces a bot every 10 seconds. Mini-Turrets last 1 minute (60 seconds)

Bot

AD: 20 (+ 15% Total AD) AS: 1 per second HP: 300/350/400/450/500 (+ 15% Bonus HP) Gold Given: 40

Bot's if they are placed in a lane will run down that lane, if not 3 max will follow Dontro around and attack anything he attacks/attacking him. if mroe than 3 spawn they go to the nearest lane and act like minions.


E - Behavioural Capacity - 1 Gear - CD 5

Dontro can change the way the Bots act and behave, while also changing the way he fights.

Attack AD is increased by 10/20/30/40/50 AD But Armour/Magic Resistance is decreased by 8/16/24/32/40 (Q is Grab)

Heal Health is increased by 200/225/250/275/300 (If changed back Health Percentage is the same) But Attack Speed is decreased by 5/10/15/20/25%

Protect Armour/Magic Resist is increased by 10/20/30/40/50 AD is decreased by 8/16/24/32/40


R - Biomechanics - 8 Gears - CD 110/90/70

Dontro creates a half-organic half-mechanical creature, walks down the nearest lane acting like a minion. If an enemy champion attacks Dontro/Allied Units near it attacks them. Deals bonus damage to turrets. Prioritizes Turrets Over Champions/Creeps

Biomachine HP: 1000/1500/2000 AD: 100/200/300 AS: 0.5/1/1.5 Range: 125 Bonus Damage to Turrets: 100/200/300 (Physical)


Biomachines acts differently depending on E

Attack Prioritizes Champions over Turrets Heal Prioritizes Turrets over Champions Protect Stays around Dontro, and if any Champions attack Dontro they start to attack them even when attacking a turret.

Change the W "mini turret" call it something else or people will think its a heimerdinger turret, His Q & E confuse me as they don't necessarily fit with the theme? maybe a little tweaking. His numbers need tweaking, but I like the idea of having to manage the gears and bots. Gj

EDIT: Changed Q & E to fit his style more.

If the Q is too OP/close too R please say that because I think that but atm I don't have any other ideas.

I like this one a lot more, maybe on the Q make it to where it can deconstruct but obviously a cooldown between switching them. On the heal bots, probably %hp heal is better so it scales into the late game better since its not a spamable heal. But I like this kit a lot more

He doesn't really sound like a jungler, his abilities IMO match a mid/top lane. It kind of looks like you took a top/mid-lane idea and added a couple of JG mechanics.

Riot already had plans for a hextech engineer by the name of CeeCee, but she was actually the premise for a concept that would eventually evolve into Braum, as her original idea was to be the ultimate shieldsman, but due to her being an engineer, they decided any kit for her wouldnt fill in her true purpose. Look her up :P
