Silver Kayle - recolor, not for sale Viridian Kayle - 520 recolor Unmasked Kayle - not for sale Battleborn Kayle - the only 975 option, it's silver kayle meets unmasked Kayle (I have this one and like it) Judgement Kayle - not for sale, probably her most unique looking skin aside from Aetherwing Aetherwing Kayle - expensive. It's nice, but it isn't going on sale so the average kayle fan will be less likely to get it. Riot Kayle - won't be sold

So of the 7 Kayle skins that were made for her, 3 are on sale. One's a 520, one's expensive, and only one is in the standard price tier. Of the 4 not on sale now, one's probably never going to be released for sale again (the one I want) and one requires you to spend waaay too much money to travel to a bloody convention.

Frankly, I think this post needs a refocus...If a skin is not available a majority of the time, it does not exist as far as I'm concerned. There is literally zero reason for any skin to be unavailable except the Victorious skins, and frankly I disagree with making them in the first place. Summoner icons and frames are more than enough to indicate when you got whatever rank you got. Skins are overkill. As far as Kayle specifically, her Viridian skin isn't even a full recolor. Somehow, it makes sense that even when all the rest of her is...viridian, her flames are still orange. Because logic, right there. Her aether skin is nice, expensive, but....A sci-fi skin for a chick with a sword nad magical flames......Not sure where that idea came from, but I don't get it. Battleborn Kayle, IMHO is basically Viking. Not bad, but then you see...Silver kayle? Better than all three that are available. Unmasked? The same. And most obviously.... JUDGEMENT KAYLE, the most awesome looking skin for her, both in splash and in game. But it's not available, because it's a genius idea to have a high demand product and announce that you'll never, ever sell it. Ever.

TL; DR? Riot needs to make EVERY skin available or remove it from the game. Period. Even the Victorious line. Summoner Icons and Frames are more than enough to announce your Victory, leave skins out of it.

Besides, what if you win a skin, but...You don't like that champion? "Oh, I won Victorious Elise.....But I hate spiders. And jungling. Well this is useless now...." An Icon or Frame would make EVERYBODY happy though. And be much easier to make, frankly.

You said you have battleborn kayle and like it so why do you complain?

Also, 7 skins is a good amount of skins when you think about all the champions which have only 1 skin.

Riot Kayle will go on sale. Riot skins go on sale when it is first released and when it is retired.

It's a short window to purchase, but it's still available.

And unmasked goes on sale periodically. It's not like you can't get it like Judgement and Silver.

(That aside, Viridian Kayle is my favorite skin for her tbh...)

I wouldn't say Riot has any sort of "backhanded hatred". There are legacy skins/recolors because she's old and her early skins weren't up to par. Her two truly limited edition skins exist because... she's one of the original 40 champions and they wanted something special but had a relatively small champion pool at the time. She has a legendary skin - which is still a rarity in champions. That aside... Since I've been playing (late season 2) she'll have had two new skins. That's a whole lotta love compared to a lot of champions who have still yet to receive a single skin since I started playing.

Silver Kayle is her best skin. Followed by Judgment and Viridian.

They were running surveys for recolored skins. So they might just move Silver and Viridian, possibly Unmasked Kayle, into that category; they would lower the price since the new type of skin tier is said to be lower than the lowest 520rp price, possibly refunding those who spent money on these recolors.

I have every Kayle skin, and I gotta say... Yeah, we need more actually available skins. At least recolor the particles on her recolors...
