Brainstorming a Dracolich Champion; help me finish it

I had Plagueis a while back, but I abandoned that concept a few years ago. Now, having played some HOMM5 and looking back on Durnehviir from Skyrim (Dawnguard DLC), I wanna take another crack at making a Dracolich.

Note that this is all WIP.

#Background

One of the first dragons on Runeterra, Vulfeynnax (Dark Bane Cruelty) was cursed into undeath when the Blessed Isles were corrupted into the Shadow Isles. As a Dracolich, Vulfeynnax has a hatred of all living things, but presently bides his time in order to prepare to scourge Runeterra of all living things, and turn it into a land of undeath.

#General Concept

Vulfeynnax is a short range mage-bruiser who must charge up his attacks to inflict their full effects. Though these charge-ups leave him vulnerable to interrupts or dodges, they make his abilities devastating if their use is planned out and utilized properly. Vulfeynnax deals a lot of poison damage and has a good dose of crowd control available to him as well, but he can be fairly predictable.

Additionally, whenever Vulfeynnax dies, he leaves behind a ghost that can move around the battlefield, able to scout positions without reprisal and apply a minor slow to enemies. Upon finishing his respawn timer, Vulfeynnax respawns at the location of his ghost, letting him immediately rejoin the action.

#Abilities

(work-in-progress; some may be worded incorrectly)

P - Undying Soul

Upon dying, Vulfeynnax releases a wave of death energies all around him that slow nearby enemies, while Vulfeynnax becomes a ghost. In Ghost Form, Vulfeynnax has a fixed movement speed, reduced vision radius, cannot use Summoner Spells or items, and is visible to the enemy team at all times. During Ghost Form, Vulfeynnax has access to Ghost Breath, which can briefly slow enemies.

Upon finishing his death timer, Vulfeynnax revives at the position of his ghost.

Vulfeynnax cannot purchase items while in Ghost Form unless he returns to his team's fountain (Recall is not disabled).

Stored Power All of Vulfeynnax's basic abilities can be charged to increase their power and, when fully charged, add bonus effects. Vulfeynnax can still move while charging, but reduces his own movement speed while charging.

Q - Death's Breath

Vulfeynnax charges up a breath attack, increasing range and damage as he charges up. Upon release, Vulfeynnax releases a dark breath attack in a wide cone, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit. Half of the damage is dealt immediately, while half is dealt over 3 seconds. If fully charged, 25% of the total damage is dealt as true damage.

W - Roar of Terror

Vulfeynnax charges up a demoralizing roar, increasing range as he charges. Activating the ability causes Vulfeynnax to slow all enemies in a line, while inflicting Fear on all non-Champions struck. If fully charged, Vulfeynnax also inflicts Fear on Champions for 1 second.

E - Barren Flight

Vulfeynnax charges up before launching himself at a target destination, damaging all nearby enemies upon landing. If fully charged, Barren Flight gives Vulfeynnax bonus resistances for each enemy Champion struck.

R - Death and Decay

Upon activation, Vulfeynnax's next basic ability is automatically charged, and Vulfeynnax surrounds himself with a cloud of deathly energies for X seconds, dealing continuous damage to nearby enemies and continuously healing him for each enemy he damages (heals more when damaging Champions). Short cooldown.

Does this sound promising? Anything you'd change?

He feels like an unholy hybrid of Shyvana, Karma, Karthus and Sion, but I actually really like this design space.

He feels like his best identity would be a drain tank, with a build like: item 3068 item 3001 item 3116 item 3151 item 3146

The passive sounds like something really neat to play around. No damage dealing, just scouting and securing. Diving with impunity but unable to back up your team except with slows.

It's a really interesting idea and I'd love to see/learn more on how it works. Do you simply remain as a non-damaging ghost, even after the body respawns? Do you have to physically recall to the fountain to reclaim it, or does it work like Sion's passive?

EDIT: I just reread the section on his passive, so I know now that it's a Sion-type passive. Still, that gives him good utility, even when death timers get big!

I think I would definitely change the name from Vulfeynnax. It feels out of place in the Runeterran worldspace and definitely feels like the strong allusion to Skyrim that it is. Few people would fail to pick up on that. Maybe just shorten it to Vulfeynn/Valfeynn?

This is a really cool concept and was a pleasure to read!

Its interesting because I'm working on a dracolich 2 right now... thou I feel like ur abilities have 2 nice base mechanic of the charge up... they are lack luster, they aren't very inventive, I think u can do better.
