Will there ever be another champion with % HP True damage?

Ah , I Don't know if this is just me, but my favorite part about vayne, is her W Damage!

There is literally nothing you can build to counter that damage, Build HP? Well, its a % amount, Build Armor? Well, it's true damage

Now this isn't a post about that ability being OP or anything, in fact, it's not even close. I just can't get over that type of damage and was thinking about creating a champion concept which would retain this % Hp True damage.

That said, if the people want it, I will create a champion idea incorporating % HP True damage, because it's really cool, but like i said, if the people want it. Please refer to the poll :3

where is the "fuck you" option on the list?

well, no, you know what? lets make it a melee carry and watch all the ranged ad mains go apeshit over it. because giving a ranged carry something like that just "helps them do their job". but if a melee carry is that strong, the rage starts.

lets make another yasuo with this in his kit.

I never said the champion concept would be melee. Never said the % Hp True damage would be 8% like vayne (Which would be op on a melee) Never stated how frequently this damage would occur Never stated whether or not the champion would deal this damage with basic attacks Never stated anything about the champion in fact, and also gave an option to create a champion WITHOUT that ability You need to take a nap

point is vayne shouldnt even have this. doesnt matter how large the values are. % health true damage shouldnt be a thing. the fact that there is no counterplay to it is retarded.

lets just make 10k gold in defensive items in a champs inventory useless.

isnt enough. when you have taken 800 true damage from a vayne in a short fight with these items in your inventory, you might understand. the only useful thing on there are the passives. all the defensive stats on there are basically wasted and you might aswell build straight damage.

not to mention, that you cant afford to stack these items every game with a vayne in it, when there are still magic damage dealing champs on the enemy team. its basically just a half assed solution to deal with her, and leaves you vulnerable to their mage.

A malphite with these 3 items + Spirit and Banshee

With that he has like 450 armor and between 150-200 mr which is more than enough with the spell shield.

Now, thanks to his E, he can reduce vayne's attack speed (the only thing that counter her) by 50%, and the frozen heart's aura apply, another 15%, and then she attacks you, losing another 15% thanks to Randuin's passive.

I don't know man, but your team has a shit tons of time during 3 seconds to kill her while she has 80% less attack speed. (aka doing pretty much nothing)

malphite is a nieche case. you literally picked the one champion in this game who has a combination of armor scaling, armor boost and attack speed slow. plus, vayne is still gonna shredd him to pieces because of her stupid w passive all of that armor is worthless against her.

and hes not gonna get more than 1 e off on her anyways, because of her knockback and mobility.

i wouldnt be even half as bothered by it, if that was magic damage or flat true damage. but the % true damage has to go. it makes no sense.

I agree the ability is strong But there are ways to counter it, though minimal

You can build thornmail, which will reflect some of the immense damage she deals, Builig armor in general is strong, 8% max hp isnt too bad in fact You would NEED to land 13 procs of the true damage to completely kill a person That means around 39 auto attacks, WITHOUT even accounting for healing methods such as life steal Is the ability strong? Hell yeah, but only if the vayne is able to land 39 auto attacks, which most likely won't happen considering some champions that can just burst her down before even throwing one auto attack.
