Endrik - The Kinetic

I thought it'd be cool to come up with a champion who uses force fields. The mechanics are somewhat based off a concept I came up with a while ago, but it's much different now. Endrik's kit is similar to Ezreal's, with his Q playing like his W, and having a blink for his E.

Endrik The Kinetic Mage/Support I might be wrong that he's a support, it depends on how his kit plays out.

Appearance Sorry, I'm not a great artist. Age: 20 Hair: Brown Eyes: Green Outfit: I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of a Piltover outfit, however that ends up. Something like a hooded jacket. Maybe even a Riot skin with a police outfit to complement him. Magic: Bluish-white, and has a look to it as if you look at clear water through a water bottle.

Statistics Health 384 - 1534 Health Regen. 6.4 - 15.8 Mana 100 - 310 Mana Regen. 8.1 - 19.1 Attack Damage 51 - 95 Attack Speed 0.658 (+0% – 51.0%) Armor 21.5 - 81.0 Magic Res. 30.0 Ranged 550 Speed 325

Abilities

Passive: Energize Endrik draws in energy every time he lands an attack on an enemy champion or a large monster. Your Attack Speed increases by 5% and your Movement Speed by 5 for 6 seconds. This stacks up to 5 times.

Q: Kinetic Pulse Endrik fires a blast that shoots through enemies, dealing (10/20/30/40/50) + 10% AP magic damage to minions and monsters, and (20/30/40/50/60) + (10/15/20/25/30% AP) magic damage to champions and large monsters. Mana: 5 Range: 1000 Projectile Speed: 1750 Cooldown: Attack Speed

W: Force Shield Endrik holds up a shield for as long as you hold this ability. For the duration, damage you take is dealt to your mana, instead. The damage dealt to your shield is reduced by (0/10/20/30/40%).

E: Gravitate Endrik forms a rift in the earth's gravity, blinking to a target location. Mana: 60 Mana Cast Range: 475 Cooldown: 19/17.5/ 16/14.5/13

R: Repulse Endrik blasts everything away from him, dealing (70/160/250) + (40/60/80%) AP magic damage to enemies, and knocking them back. Mana: 100 Mana Cast Range: 750 (cone) Cooldown: 50/37/24

Tips Playing as Endrik

  • The more mana you build, the longer you can keep Force Shield up while using Kinetic Pulse.
  • You can use Gravitate offensively or defensively. You can also combine it with Energize to chase enemies or keep them away, and if you Gravitate across a retreating enemy, you can Repulse them back.

Playing against Endrik

  • When his mana is low, Endrik can do little to protect himself with his Force Shield. This is the time to strike, as his health is low otherwise, and his mana could be wiped if he is struck with his shield up.
  • Alternatively, you could apply an effect that prevents him from using abilities, since he can't put up his Force Shield when this happens.
  • If Endrik has his Energize stacks up, he would likely have the movement advantage. Try to slow him down, or keep him away.

I like his kit and he seems like a fun champion, but he is very weak. His health is very low and the only ability with strong base damage and scaling is repulse. Maybe make his movement speed buff a percent buff. The attack speed buff is nice since if his shield uses all his mana he can rely on auto attacks instead. overall he is nice but needs to be a bit stronger.

Also note, I'm thinking that Force Shield works in a semi-circle in the direction of your mouse, not all around you. For the sake of controls and moving around, the direction of the shield doesn't follow your mouse as you move it. Once activated, it stays in the direction until you release W and activate it again.

And I'm considering a wall-hitting mechanic for Repulse. Something like hitting 100% AD, and possibly a 1 second stun.
