How many times has Riot ever created a skin/CHAMP based around anyone's idea?

How many times has Riot ever created a skin based around anyone's idea? I understand why an artist would draw a concept of character they had in their head, but why do so many into great numbers detail when it comes to their concept? Has Riot ever responded by taking someone's idea and fleshed it out? Every time I see a concept post without a pic I feel like I am reading a post on hentai without the testicles.

I love looking at artwork but have seen some extensive post with everything listed. It makes me wish there was a place to build these champs and play then in a dream RPG mode. I think it is so sad that these ideas aren't sparking new blood in Riot.

There's a problem in that taking these ideas opens up the possibility of a lawsuit when not handled properly.

It's safer to have the ideas come from internally instead of trying to get them from external sources.

Oh. I was just curious.I like to draw concept art myself but never felt the need to flesh out abilities and ratios.

Riot takes the approach that each new champion to the league has to be iterated through a large number of testers before they even have a chance to belong in the game (IMO, a reasonable philosophy, and a big reason why LoL is the most popular MOBA).

At the same time, it's entirely unreasonable to think ideas posted in the forums don't inspire the champ design team. Every champion's designer draws inspiration from a lot of different places, and I can't imagine the person who designed Braum hadn't heard of Angus the Puncher.

Personally, I make concepts with extensively-thought-out numbers and mechanics because I enjoy it, not because I expect them to be used by Riot.
