Logan's design was altered from a previous version https://media.lolusercontent.com/api/embedly/1/image/resize?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FIymODOY.png%2C&key=f0abbd34f14549f3a15cd94dd9970851&width=425 here. I wanted to take some time to make him less Ezreal, and more Logan. Logan's kit was based on a support style Ez kit similar to a Blue Ez build. I guess since
got a rework, I found it fitting to put this up now, since Essence Flux as we knew it before is no more. Unfortunately, the lore and quote lines are undeveloped. I've been stumped for a long time. His appearance and personality are imagined, though, so I guess that's what counts. The art used for the pictures was an illustration of Percy Jackson by Kimberli Johnson found here, but it works.
Compared to https://media.lolusercontent.com/api/embedly/1/image/resize?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FIymODOY.png%2C&key=f0abbd34f14549f3a15cd94dd9970851&width=425 , https://i.imgur.com/doOLJVh.png changes up the malleability, lowers burst potential and, most of all, removes the attack speed shield. The attack speed shield was the one thing that no other support has, so it was something I prided Logan for, since it allowed for turret-pushing and ADC all-ins with a reliable shield. Logan's somewhat-useful attack speed potential also went well with it, since he'd be one of the few (if any are viable) AP attack speed supports.
Now this Logan does still have the on-hit potential, but it's not as pronounced in his kit. Because I reflavored him to be more distanced from Ez's kit, I changed the attack speed part of his kit to movement speed. Now he's an artillery enchanter mage with low threat, but really good skillshot poke potential and mobility. Being a fragile squishy against physical attackers, the mobility provides a real reward for taking Logan down. Basically, Logan is a hyper mobile champ, but it's the primary component of his kit, unlike recent assassins who benefit from both mobility and damage.
EDIT: Logan has a new ult that acts like a global engage/lane push, so Attack Speed was brought back into his kit, but only during the moment of his ult.
Changing the flavor to a mobility-centered kit, I also changed the way his magic works. Instead of hextech equipment, it's just water magic. I also removed Piltover from his background, although it remains a possibility. The key is coastal town, where he has the opportunity to train his magic.
Ezreal is a confident adventurer, so I made the conscious decision to make Logan the complete opposite of that. Logan is quiet and innocent, preferring home over the unknown outside world. For this reason, he may be a champion with a bit of anxiety, which Idk has been done before. Either way, it explains his overprotective safe lane kit. Old Logan's safe kit was explained by his engagement in a competitive hextech sport as a support role.
I'm not certain what his story will be, but I imagine it would take advantage of his character as someone who prefers safety over aggression.
Karma's E: Inspire/Defiance
Logan's W was almost directly ripped off from Karma's E, except since it's slotted to W, Logan's counts as a self shield, with the ally counting as second. Logan's scaling is different than most other enchanters, too, because the minimal AP scaling allows him to take other items like
and still scale his shield. To accommodate, Karma gets a new karmic shield that reflects damage if the target is attacked. The upcoming Karma rework's updates have been considered for this version of Inspire.
https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/c/c4/Inspire.png/revision/latest?cb=20130929122920 E: Inspire Active: Karma shields the target allied champion or herself for 2.5 seconds, granting the target 20% bonus movement speed while the shield holds, which rapidly decays after the first second.
https://i.imgur.com/1OGYmIH.png The target also gains Backfire for 2.5 seconds, which remains even after the shield disappears. The first enemy champion to damage the target within those 2.5 seconds takes magic damage after a 1 second delay. Damage over time effects do not trigger the damage.
https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/4/40/Defiance.png/revision/latest?cb=20130929122917 Mantra - Defiance: Inspire overflows with energy, increasing the target's shield. Allied champions near the target are shielded for 60% of the target's shield and bonus movement speed, both for their same durations, but the shield amount is split between the allies.
Defiance scales with Mantra's rank.
Target Range: 800 Cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 mana Cooldown: 11 / 10.5 / 10 / 9.5 / 9 seconds Shield: 70 / 95 / 120 / 145 / 170 (+50% AP) Magic Damage (Backfire): 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 (+40% AP) Bonus Shield (Defiance): 30 / 90 / 150 / 210 (+60% AP) Effect Radius (Defiance): 600 units

Logan has Bliss, and he also grants Bliss to allied champions who he heals or shields for 5 seconds.
Bliss: Gain slow resistance, and whenever you benefit from a % movement speed buff of 25% or higher, you are ghosted, allowing you to move through units until you are no longer benefiting from that much movement speed from that particular buff.
Slow Resistance: 18 - 35% (+1% per level)
https://i.imgur.com/IK6rqvQ.png Q: Aqua Bolt
Active: Logan fires a pulse of water in a line, dealing magic damage to enemies it passes through, dealing on-hit effects and applying Soaked for 2 seconds. The damage is reduced to 70% for enemies hit after the first. This ability has two charges.
Soaked: The target is slowed, and crippled if it is a champion. Both of these effects decay after the first second, but are tripled if Logan hits the target twice with Aqua Bolt within 3 seconds.
Ability Type: Projectile AoE Magic Damage: 40 / 72.5 / 105 / 137.5 / 170 (+20% AP) Reduced Damage (70%): 28 / 50.75 / 73.5 / 96.25 / 119 (+14% AP) Slow: 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20% Cripple: 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10% Slow & Cripple Duration: 2 seconds Mana Cost: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 Charges: 2 Cooldown per Charge: 6 / 5.75 / 5.5 / 5.25 / 5 seconds Projectile Range: 1100 units Projectile Speed: 1750 units
Technical Notes:
- When an enemy is inflicted with double the slow and cripple from Soaked, the effects remain doubled until the enemy is not hit by Aqua Bolt for 3 seconds.
https://i.imgur.com/3tYppss.png W: Cover Sport
Active: Logan shields himself and a target allied champion for 2.5 seconds, granting them bonus movement speed for 1.5 seconds. The shield will prioritize the allied champion closest to the cursor within range, if Logan does not target an allied champion.
Ability Type: Single Target Buff Shield Duration: 2.5 seconds Movement Speed Duration: 1.5 seconds Bonus Movement Speed: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60% Shield Amount: 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 / 190 (+30% AP) (+30% bonus Magic Resist) Mana Cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 Cooldown: 10 / 9.5 / 9 / 8.5 / 8 seconds Target Range: 800 units
Technical Notes:
- The cooldown applies once the ability is cast.
- Like Heal, If no allied champions are near the cursor, Cover Sport will target the most wounded allied champion in range.
https://i.imgur.com/ek5GZiI.png E: Stream Dash
Active: Logan dashes in the target direction. If he targets an allied champion, he instead pulls the ally to his location in a portal, making the ally untargetable and unable to take actions for up to 4 seconds, but taking reduced damage inflicted to Logan. Within that time, he slows himself by 20%, but can activate this ability again, allowing him to dash. At the end of the dash, the ally is immediately removed from the portal.
Ability Type: Single Target Pull / Dash Duration: 4 seconds Reduced Damage Taken: 60 / 55 / 50 / 45 / 40% Mana Cost: 100 Cooldown: 22 / 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 seconds Target Range: 725 units Dash Range: 475 units
Technical Notes:
- Logan's dash can be interrupted with immobilizing crowd control effects.
- Although the dash is instant, the pull has a 0.25 second casting time. Stream Dash's cast time cannot be interrupted by anything other than Logan's own death. He will still suffer any crowd control effects, duration permitting, after it ends.
- If the targeted ally leaves the target range before the 0.25 second casting time is complete, the pull still occurs, wherever that ally is, as long as the ally remains targetable (going into stasis will prevent the pull from happening). Completing a recall cancels the pull.
- If Logan is displaced mid-cast the pull will still occur. Likewise, only the death of the ally can stop the pull.
- If the ally dies prematurely, either while being pulled or while inside the portal, the ability immediately goes on cooldown.
- If Logan dies while pulling an ally, the ally will still be pulled to his location, but will not enter a portal.
- Logan cannot do anything while pulling an ally, except to use consumables. Any movement and basic attack commands will execute once the pull is complete.
- Once pulled, the ally cannot do anything until ejected from the portal, except to use consumables. Any movement and basic attack commands will execute once ejected from the portal.
- The ally is pulled at the same speed at Thresh's lantern.
- The ally is immune to all crowd control once the pull begins. However, any crowd control effects that linger upon exiting the portal remain, duration permitting.
- An audiovisual effect indicates when the ally enters the portal, as well as when Logan is carrying an ally in one.
- The reduced damage that the ally takes while inside the portal comes from all sources, including single target abilities and Ignite.
- If Logan dies while carrying an ally, that ally is immediately booted from the portal.
- The ability immediately goes on cooldown if Logan decides to dash without targeting an ally.
- If Logan enters stasis while pulling an ally, the ally is still pulled to his location, but if Logan is still in stasis when the ally reaches him, the ally does not enter the portal. Likewise, if Logan enters stasis while carrying an ally, the ally is removed from the portal at due time, unaffected by the stasis.
- If Tahm Kench is pulled into a portal while carrying an enemy champion, the enemy is booted from Tahm Kench upon going into Logan's portal when he reaches Logan's position. However, minions and allied champions can be carried through the portal inside Tahm Kench's mouth. Once Tahm spits them out, they are booted from the portal, too.
https://i.imgur.com/Nb3zNgW.png R: Downpour
Active: Logan immediately grants all allied champions Bliss, while channeling Downpour for 1 second. If Logan completes the channel, he and all allied champions gain bonus Attack Speed for 4 seconds and damaging abilities and attacks deal a percentage of damage dealt to champions as bonus magic damage for the same duration.
Logan cannot move or cancel Downpour after activation until the channel either ends or is interrupted.
Ability Type: Global Buff Bonus Magic Damage: 5% (+1% per 100 AP) Bonus Attack Speed: 30 / 35 / 40% Mana Cost: 100 Cooldown: 160 / 145 / 130 seconds Range: Global
Technical Notes:
- Downpour affects allies that are untargetable.
- If Downpour's channel is interrupted in some fashion it goes on full cooldown and its cost is not refunded.

Beware Of
(Master Yi can ignore Logan's slows and cripples.)
Tips and Tricks
- The brunt of Aqua Bolt's damage is applied to the first enemy it hits. Be careful of who is in its way. However, the slow can help kite whoever is hit.
- You can use Stream Dash to save your teammate in the jungle by pulling them over a wall, provided they can be reached.
- Stream Dash doesn't always have to be used to escape fights. Coordinate with a teammate if there is an opportunity for a gank.
- Coordinate with your team for the perfect engage across all lanes with Downpour. Your team may earn an ace.
- Shurelya's Reverie can be used to give some extra movement speed to an ally to ghost them with Bless. You can also use Shurelya's Reverie, or Cover Sport, to cover some extra distance before dashing with Stream Dash.
- Karma's E was also changed a bit. Reworded for clarity of who takes the damage, and the damage now applies after a one second countdown, which can be a better experience for the attacker, who may have triggered Backfire from an AoE.
Playing Against Logan
- Go in for the kill if Logan uses his Stream Dash to engage into a battle. He most likely won't have an escape.
- When Logan pulls an ally with Stream Dash, this is your chance to target Logan. If you can kill him before the 4 seconds are up, or use some crowd control to stop him in his tracks, his ally will be vulnerable. Not to mention, any damage he takes during those 4 seconds also applies a reduced version to his ally, which can be helpful if the ally has low health.
- Logan's threat level is low. Try to punish him before he can scale his Aqua Bolt with a Sheen or similar item.
- Logan is great for keeping a safe distance while attacking. If you go in for a ranged basic attack, keep in mind that his basic attack range is slightly better than most ranged champions. He will likely have the chance to poke you back.
- If Logan uses both of his Aqua Bolt charges in quick succession, you will have a short window of opportunity to take him out, since his main source of damage is expended.
- Logan benefits from the back of a team fight or within the target range of his Cover Sport and Stream Dash abilities. If he is ever singled out or at the forefront, go for the kill. Just keep in mind that he can easily escape with his Stream Dash.

Changelog
11/21/2018:
- Aqua Bolt (Q)'s slow and cripple strength were changed so its effects triple instead of double on the second hit. This should make the second hit more rewarding, while the first hit doesn't do much.
11/11/2018:
- Downpour (R)'s bonus magic damage was changed from a set amount to a damage multiplier, in order to be inclusive of damage over time champions, and to avoid treading on Nami's Tidecaller Blessing (E).
10/11/2018:
- Cover Wipe (R) was replaced with Downpour. It was refined based on its global engage without the free global cleanse and aoe damage. Downpour instead grants allies bonus magic damage on their abilities and attacks, which means that your team must earn the kills when Logan ults. This version also helps to reduce the channel time back to Trident Sweep's 1 second, and opens some offensive upgrades for solo lane Logan.
- Since Logan has an AS buff, albeit only during his ult, Logan's Attack Speed was reduced slightly from 0.625 (+0% - 42.5%, +2.5% per level) to 0.625 (+0% - 38.25%, +2.25% per level).
- Soaked now only comes out of Aqua Bolt (Q), and the description of the ability was changed to accommodate that.
- Since the channel time for Downpour (R) is only 1 second, and the buff lasts 4 seconds, Bliss was reverted back to 5 seconds from 6.
- The Tips & Tricks section was updated in light of recent changes.
- Added Master Yi to the Match Ups section, since he can ignore Soaked.
04/11/2018:
- Trident Sweep (R) was replaced with Control Wipe. The final move to space Logan's kit farther apart from Ezreal. It's no longer a skill shot, but nonetheless still accomplishes its goal of being a global ult that provides a little bit of damage and cc in another lane. Control Wipe goes full support on it, by being the only global ult playmaking tool. First of all, it clears cc from allies, allowing for them to start engaging with an attack speed buff. But that's not all, since there is a little bit of damage which erupts from allies (damage doesn't stack though), which procs Soaked. Basically, this is Logan's old W repurposed into a global lane push. Incredibly satisfying for the right team.
- Bliss' duration has been increased from 5 seconds to 6 seconds, to coincide with Control Wipe.
30/10/2018:
- Stream Dash (E) now slows Logan by 20% while he is carrying an ally.
28/10/2018:
- Made changes to Aqua Bolt (Q) and Trident Sweep (R). A good Logan player could take advantage of the two charges and space them out during the early game, kiting his enemies with 70% almost permanently. While the kiting was intended, Logan's slow was scaled down in the early stages. I also gave it a cripple to accommodate the lack of slow, and reduced the slow at max rank from 70% to 60% since there is a cripple now. The reason for this was so Logan could have a little more cc as a support, without reaching two bars on the crowd control scale. The cripple also makes his Q unique, as opposed to treading on Lulu and Karma's Q mechanics. Since both his Q and R now apply a slow and a cripple, I merged them into a passive called Soaked that scales with Logan's Q. Soaked is something to consider when looking to upgrade Logan's W or E, which have their own utility importance.
- Aqua Bolt (Q)'s mana cost has been changed from 34/36/38/40/42 to 30/35/40/45/50.
- Changed the match ups a bit due to the changes made.
24/10/2018:
- Aqua Bolt (Q)'s projectile speed was reduced from 2000 units to 1750 units.
- Karma's mini rework was changed to reflect the upcoming Karma rework.
- Cover Sport (W)'s prioritizing of the lowest health ally nearest the cursor no longer prioritizes based on health, but on distance alone. The ability will still prioritize based on health if the cursor is not near an allied champion, as the technical notes suggest.
- Stream Dash (E)'s pull is now canceled if the targeted ally completes a recall within the 0.25 seconds before the pull occurs, so the ally is not immediately pulled across the map upon returning to base. Likewise, the pull also does not occur if the target is no longer targetable when the 0.25 seconds are complete (such as going into stasis, or getting eaten by Tahm Kench).
21/10/2018:
- Aqua Bolt (Q)'s slow now decays after the first second, instead of immediately.
- Updated Karma's rework section, since I revisited the idea for a full rework on the baords.
16/10/2018
- Cover Sport (W)'s shield strength has been changed from 70/100/130/160/190 (+ 1 per 1 Bonus Mana Regen) (+ 20% AP) to 70/100/130/160/190 (+30% AP) (+30% bonus Magic Resist).
- Trident Sweep (R)'s AP scaling has been increased from 45% to 50%.
- Changed the Recommended Build to accommodate for the changes.
