[Champion Concept + Lore] Sui, the Lone Cryomaster
Lore:
Chapter 1: Creation: Age: 0-4
A long time ago, when Ionia was still clad in the icy grips of the Ice Age, a medium sized tribe lived. The Koori tribe. Consisting of numerous skilled cryomancers, the tribe lived mildly comfortable despite the constant blizzard that pounded at them. Using their ancient ice magics, the cryomancers subdued the blizzard from hurting them, causing it to flow around them. This act took almost 20 cryomancers. Things however, changed when Sui was born. With a body as cold as ice, his magic developed faster than any child cryomancer. Various town elders were tasked of watching over Sui, keeping an eye on how he developes. When Sui turned 4 years old, he was given a diary to write all his thoughts in. It was here that Sui was introduced into school.
Chapter 2: Growing Up: Age: 4-10 "The elders gave me this book to write about myself. Not totally sure what to write about to be honest. I get to go to school with a bunch of other ice magic users. Today is my first day, I wonder what I'll learn."
Sui began school like any other child. It was the basic mathematics and reading as well as a class dedicated to finding the new cryomancer generation. This was quite easy on Sui, as by the time he began going to school, he had a good grasp on how to use his ice magic. Sui stood out in his class, and not in a small way. Whenever he entered the room, it would drop 10 degrees. He was also extremely smart and learned new concepts faster than any other person. After a few months of training, Sui was even added to the roster to hold the blizzard at bay every now and then. He was 5 by that time. The years in which Sui went to school went by extremely fast. He was known throughout the entire tribe for being extremely smart and had the strongest ice magic in his class. But when Sui turned 10, he was taken out of the school by the Koorian Elders. Fearing that Sui would pose a threat to the non-cryomancers, he was taught exclusively ice magic personally by the hardiest cryomancers that the tribe had to offer.
Chapter 3: Power overwhelming: Age: 10-20 "The elders took me out of school, saying that I was going to be taught by them personally. I don't want to leave my friends. Am I scaring them? They seemed to be treating me like I was above them. I'm sad to go, but I'm also excited to learn more about my ice magic."
Sui was taken away by several elders to a secluded area just outside the blizzard. They set up a post there and began Sui's immense training. No matter what they showed him, Sui was able to replicate any ice formation they had. Ancient techniques that took years to master, were understood and perfected in under an hour. During this time, Sui even began to develop his own magics. Various new moves that the elders never even heard of. When Sui turned 20, he perfected a spell that would preserve his body, preventing from him from aging. At the same time, the elders brought him back to the tribe. Exhausting everything they could teach. Sui was so powerful, he was able to keep the blizzard at by himself.
Chapter 4: Famine: Age: 23-30 I remember this thing! However times are getting hard. We're running low on food due to the snow starting to melt. I think I went a little overboard in trying to stop the blizzard for good. I'm going to go out with a convoy to try and get some fish. There has to be something to eat on this island, right?
Sui attempted to do the impossible. He unleashed so much of his magic power that he dissipated the storm. However, that was a big mistake. The ice around Ionia began to melt, and with it, the crops that were made for the icy conditions began to die out. The various fauna that once existed with the tribe went extinct. Sui set out to find other kinds of food. Luckily, they found a lot of edibles. Fish, plants, fruits, and other foods turned up. The tribe wasn't fully acclimated to the snowless world, but they had to adapt quickly, or face death. To alleviate the stress of change, Sui tried to keep various crops alive using his ice magic. But there was only so much he could do to feed a whole changing tribe. Sadly, this food source didn't last as long as Sui had hoped, lasting just around 7 years. Once again, this time alone however, Sui set out to find food for his tribe. Using his ice magic, he crossed the sea towards the mainland, and found himself in Noxus. Upon arrival, Sui was apprehended and imprisoned by the rather old guard.
Chapter 5: The Bigger World Age: 30-50 "So glad they let me keep this. I'm in a place called Noxus. Everyone here is quite hardy, but that's to be expected by someone as strong as I am. Though, it seems I can befriend these people, despite their harsh natures."
It took a month to finally get released from prison. However, he had a guard on him at all times to make sure he didn't commit any crimes. Sui began to work at a local grocery store, and used to money he earned to build up a collection of food. Using hired mercenaries and constructing a massive bridge of ice, Sui had them deliver the food to his tribe while he continued to work. This went on for a very long time, as Sui eventually began to grow tired of working. He longed to see how his friends were doing. Taking leave from his job, 20 years later, Sui left Noxus to return to Ionia. However, he couldn't find anyone. Just a gorge with all the food Sui worked so hard to buy, dumped like it was trash. Sui began to wander around Ionia and other areas on the main land, searching for his tribe.
Chapter 6: The Lonesome Cryomancer: Age: 50-1300 "It's been so long since I've written something. Everyone's gone and I'm trying to find them. I've been all over Ionia at least 10 times. There's only the locals here. They look like my tribe, but they aren't cryomancers. I don't know where everyone went. I miss my friends and family. Please don't be dead."
"It's been years since I discovered what those Noxian pieces of trash did. I've made a small place in the Ionia village, but that's not my home. I belong with the Koori tribe. I just wish I could find them."
"The years are flying by like nothing. The village I once knew has changed to a city. I took a visit to Noxus to get some revenge, but the mercenaries I hired had apparently died of old age generations ago. I can't find my tribe. At this point, it's best to move on and find a new family. Some people speak of the League of Legends. Maybe I'll try there."
"I'm not even looking for the Koori tribe now, I'm just looking for a family."
Sui lost track of how many years passed. While he searched, he trained himself to be faster, stronger, more powerful than any living being seen before. After more than a millenia, Sui ended his search, and went to the newly founded Institute of War. Upon arriving, Sui met with several other "champions" including Jax, Soraka, and Ashe. They seemed to be friendly enough, and were nice enough to show Sui around. A summoner approached Sui, asking his business. Sui told the summoner his story and was quickly taken to the higher ups. In exchange for a place to live, and a well paying job, Sui was allowed to stay in the Institute of War's dorms, where he was allowed to be summoned to Summoner's Rift.
Chapter 7: Home Sweet Home: Age: 1300+ "Time to put this thing down for good. It's going to take a lot of work, but I think I found my new home. This place isn't so bad. I even found someone who I can relate to, he's ever older than me. I've already made a couple friends, Gnar and Zilean are quite nice to be around. This is where I close my book and open a new one." Journal interpreted by Ezreal
On Sui's first time on Summoner's Rift, he was shown the basics of how it played out. The object was to destroy the Nexus, and to get there he had to destroy an inhibitor and at least 3 turrets. Shortly after arriving, Sui destroyed the enemy Nexus in less than a second. Immediately, Sui was pulled from the roster and investigated. For him to continue to stay at the League of Legends, he had to wear a Hextech brace, developed by Viktor, which limited his power output. Sui accepted, and was allowed to stay with his new found friends.

In game
Role: Fighter, Mage, Jungler, Melee
Passive: Hextech Limiter: Replacing Sui's manabar is a Resistance Bar. Every auto attack or spell cast, Sui gains 10 or 20 resistance respectively. Sui can have a maximum of 1000 resistance. -When Sui reaches 250 resistance, his damaging abilities deal an additional 10% final damage (after armor and mr are taken into account) and Sui is granted 5% bonus ability power and 25% attack speed. -At 550 resistance, Sui's abilities are given bonus effects and the bonus is increased to 10% bonus ability power and 50% attack speed. -At 800 resistance, all of Sui's auto attacks and damaging abilities deal 10% additional true damage. However, at this point, his resistance will begin to rapidly drop until it hits 0 at a rate of 50 per second. -If Sui's resistance drops to 0 because of hitting 800 resistance, he will be put into "Worn Out" state for 1 minute, making it impossible for him to enter "Powered up" state, and also causing his Armor and Magic resistance to drop to 0. -While Sui is out of combat, he loses 5 resistance per second, and loses all of it after 60 seconds. -Additionally, Sui cannot land basic attacks unless he is in "Powered up" state.
Q: Shiverend:
Sui stores a portion of his power in his sheath, charging for several seconds. While charging, Sui is given a small movement speed buff. On second cast, Sui cleaves the area in front of him with his sword, dealing physical damage (Base damage scales with AD) which deals additional physical damage (that scales with AP) depending on how long he charged. If Sui channels for too long, this ability is put on a small cool down.
After casting this ability, Sui is put in "Powered up" State, allowing him to make basic attacks for the next several seconds or until he leaves combat. This duration scales with AP.
Bonus Effect: Instead of cleaving the area in front of him, Sui can now teleport to a nearby target enemy and cleave that area.
W: Skating:
Sui dashes forward, leaving a trail of ice behind him which slows enemies by a small amount. If Sui is charging Shiverend, Skating will cause Sui to cleave immediately after the dash ends, dealing additional magic damage. (scales with AP)
The trail of ice lasts 3 seconds.
Bonus Effect: Trail deals magic damage (scales with AP) over time.
E: Snowball:
Sui throws a small ball of ice at target enemy, dealing a small amount of physical damage. (that scales with AD) Sui deals additional physical damage based on how much HP the target is missing. (Base amount scales with AP) Applies on hit effects.
Entering "Powered up" state refreshes Snowball's cool down.
Bonus Effect: Slows the target greatly.
For clarity reasons, here's an example of how the execute would work. If Sui had 0 AP, it would do no additional damage. If he had 100 AP, it would do X amount of bonus damage
R: Ice Age:
Sui charges for 4 seconds. After, he unleashes a massive wave that covers the entire map. (Like a 360 Ezreal ult) Dealing physical damage (that scales with AD) and slowing enemy champions struck. (Slow scales with AP)
Bonus effect: Charge time reduced to 2 seconds. Deals a little more damage.
Notes: Sui is extremely weak while he is in his base form, dealing extremely low damage. However, while he is above 500 resistance, he is extremely powerful, able to 1v1 just about anyone. A good build would include a combination of AD and AP as well as some durability. Sui scales really hard, so too much durability and he won't deal a lot of damage, but too little durability and he will be killed relatively quickly because he has no hard cc and his only gap closer is also his escape. AD and AD scaling is meant to be Sui's primary damage while AP and AP scaling is meant to be secondary damage as well as utility. Having a lot of both will be of great use to Sui.
Tips for facing Sui: Harass Sui while he is low on resistance. He won't be able to put up much of a fight. Sui cannot last hit very easily, so being able to tell when he is going to go for a kill is very easy to predict and punish. Stay away from Sui while he is above 500 resistance, or if facing him is inevitable, stun him so he can't utilize his abilities to their fullest potential.
